Come on jury do your homework. The morning glory flower is a native to china imported to japan. Secondly the flower is considered a weed in Australia. Why would you consider this as a national emblem oran option to choose. Waste of time.

Posted in: Japan to cut cost for Olympic stadium by third, say lawmakers See in context
Original stadium design costed 250 billion with no roof, no facade and no temporary seating in that costing.
On the 26th a Minster said cost will be capped at 200 billion. http://www.japantoday.com/smartphone/view/sports/ioc-wants-main-stadium-ready-by-january-2020
On the 27th they said 155 billion. http://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2015/08/27/national/japan-eyes-capping-cost-olympic-stadium-%C2%A5155-billion/#.Vd9xY4bXenM
Today they say cost is capped at 176 billion.
Does not look or sound under control.
It keeps on changing however I cannot see how by reducing only 10000 seats they got from 250 billion to 176 billion.
The government needs to disclose a comparative shopping list so the public can see how their hard earned tax is being spent.
The government also needs to disclose which contractor is providing them with these figures.

I calculated it will cost 200000 yen per man, woman and child. Excluding the roof.

What is the final cost with roof on. It is happily not mentioned and I bet you the builders are not giving any discounts on putting the roof on. I expect the cost to be hiked up. Poor government decision making and brief. They have not done their home work despite going on junket trips to see other venues I assume. Did they not do any cost analysis before hand or get pre-tender input. Failure is written all over it.

Posted in: Lawmakers scuffle over controversial temp worker bill See in context
For example Foreign assistant language teachers are commonly dispatched throughout Japan. They work 8 hour days 5 days a week but are considered part time. Recently because this new bill is coming all ALTs in Nara have been sacked with no notice for a period of 3 months. The reason is the Board of Education in Nara does not want the responsibility of hiring ALTs full time. The terrible thing is the ALTs in Nara have been given 2-1 month extended contracts with no warning of this event happening. Secondly some of the ALTs have not even been working for 3 years but to simplify things it is easier for the Nara Board of Education to just sack everyone and change to a new dispatch company. This is a really dumb bill with terrible consequences for not only ALTs but all dispatched workers open to abuse even by government departments. I think this explains the consequences clearly.
