I wonder if they stopped to taste the gutter run off radioactive water that has been seeping into the Pacific ocean spreading radioactive contamination since the beginning. No don't face the problem allow it to get worse, don't seek help or a solution just pretend it's safe.

The IAEA IS BIASED TOWARDS USING NUCLEAR POWER. 300 years is a long 1/2 life and dumping thousands of tons of dirty water like all the dirty ground water not being stored leaking into the sea is a tragedy in itself. Right CIA??

Posted in: Fukushima clean-up turns toxic for TEPCO See in context

There is more than leaks of radioactive waste.....there has been massive airborne explosions dispersing toxic radioactive materials with harmful half lives lasting hundreds of years....as it fills the atmosphere across the northern hemisphere. There have already been limited revelations of infant death spikes from the time of the explosions. There have been extremely hot radioactive readings as far south as YokoHama. The dust continues to move on the winds and feet and plants and trains passing through the contaminated areas. The North Pacific has been shown on computer model to be completely covered within 5 years, that's fish, islands and ace an bottoms. This is bigger than nations care to report or resolve for some reason. Please listen to the alternative sources as the media and governments minimize and lie about what needs to be done. Demand action to save this planet.....more than a Cove....more than an earthquake, more than a tsunami ore than a radioactive airburst.

More should be focused on the mentally ill. Assault weapons, why does the public need them? Self defense or sport weapons in the hands of trained users ok.

4million NRA should not control 300million. Get some backbone..../ look out though they may have assault weapons.

WHAT AN IDIOT!! 1st Japan can't even handle the nuclear "weapons" or Power Plants they have leaking, failing or blowing up like Chernobyl. 2nd the US Military have the assumed capability so Japan does not need their own with the US right here providing the defense. Fix your economy and let that be your strength.

We used to say if they aren't bitching ther aren't happy....until they need us. It's funny to see how greatful someone is once their life is in danger.

Posted in: Japan, U.S. discussing revised plan for relocating Marines from Okinawa See in context

The Philippines still have the US come and support them, constantly. China claims their Islands and now have air craft carriers capable of inflicting their power across Asia. Funds lost by moving repair and base facilities to other countries hurt the Philippines. In Japan that could be the same. I think a lot of the uproar is a political stage to get more money down in Okinawa without the Us military forward position what does Okinawa have....a little resort Island encroaching all the bases there. Military strategists see the entire region better than most laptop geniuses without top secret clearances. Cobra Gold is a joint exercise that is happening now in Thailand, guess where the Marines come from to train and assist other countries? Remember that tsunami and March /11 ? US armed forces from Japan did a major effort in humanitarian assistance there....not many F-15s either.

Particles the size of microscopic dust.... Like the uncovered sneeze that produces microscopic infectious particles in a cloud and can fill a whole room...before a breeze. A 15 mile per hour breeze from Fukushima to Tokyo would only take a SW breeze 10 hours and if that air had particles that were/are radioactive for 30 or a couple thousand years ...who needs Korea or China to invade or any other organization to destroy Japan
