Michael Sheldon comments

All of my brothers and sisters from USS Stockdale have maintained their composure and been civil in their requests to the people posting trash here to be respectful. I don't have that much patience for stupidity. Everyone here that is speculating and badmouthing my shipmate needs to shut up. you weren't there, you don't know the real story, and you obviously don't know him. Those of us who served with him know him as a squared away sailor and a wonderful human being. If you want to make petty remarks or trash talk the Navy, don't be such an ignorant coward that you have to post your inane and uneducated speculation here. If you have ANYTHING bad to say about this fine sailor, say it to my face, so that I can have the opportunity to verbally reduce you to the small minded hateful and pathetic waste of human flesh that you are. Spew your pitiful assumptions and display your ignorance and heartlessness somewhere else, not over the corpse of my shipmate.

To Alex's loved ones, you have my deepest sympathy, and I grieve with you. Alex will be missed by all who knew him.
