Oh great. That means nurses can do more dance routines. I would love to see Trump ban TikTok.

I can't wait for this F1 season to be over. The midfield battles have been fun and the Gasly win was magic, but my word it's been so boring up front.

More tests will lead to more 'cases' which the media will pounce on, thus creating more hysteria. This will increase calls for more tests and...

Haven't you all worked out what's really going on yet?

This really isn't big news. I wouldn't expect cars to give me priority if they're hurtling down the street. Crossings are kind of pointless anyway. I use my discernment, wait for a safe gap in traffic and cross where I want.

@Antiquesaving Well said. Outstanding comment and full of truth.

That of course means it will soon be deleted because JT don't approve of any truths that don't adhere to their left-wing narratives, but thank you anyway. ;)

Watching sport is escapism for people. Escapism from the drudgery of their jobs. Escapism from financial woes. Escapism from the daily fear, fear, fear-based news mantras. Escapism from politics.

People don't watch sport for political or moral advice. Least of all from BLM, who are mentioned in this article (Note for my friends at Japan Today, that means this is 'on-topic'), which is little more than a shell company for funding the Democrats via ActBlue Charities. Do you start to see what's going on now?

ActBlue Expenditures for 2020

1 Biden for President $194,848,705

2 Bernie 2020 $186,780,034

3 Warren for President $93,484,426

4 Pete for America $78,469,082

5 Democratic Congressional Campaign Cmte $64,786,693

6 Amy for America $43,167,720

7 Democratic National Cmte $42,499,784

8 Democratic Senatorial Campaign Cmte $40,153,894

9 Amy McGrath for Senate $39,673,737

10 Friends of Andrew Yang $31,705,801

(Source: https://www.opensecrets.org/pacs/expenditures.php?cmte=C00401224&cycle=2020).

The irony of BLM is that they have absolutely no interest in the liberation of black people.

I think Belgium are streets ahead of everyone at the moment. I'm a little baffled that England are so high. They're a team with huge potential, but 4th best? Not yet, IMO.

Posted in: Tokyo reports 163 new coronavirus cases See in context

Telling us how many new 'cases' there are feels really misleading. The number of cases entirely depends on the number of tests in the first place. If there were 0 tests there would be 0 new cases. In such a situation would "0 New Cases!" be newsworthy? Of course not, yet incorporating the same bizarre logic here we are with yet another 'update'.

I imagine Leeds will care little for this elimination. They've got more important fights this season. Southampton, though, they should surely be putting more into this competition. So many clubs seem to have such little ambition anymore.

Wow, so me big guns, and some big surprises hidden down there in the women's results! (How did Venus manage to get her dog to Rome, anyway?)

Perhaps the cabin staff were so obsessed with shaming those non-compliant with mask regulations, that they didn't notice Venus' pooch in the corner.

masks are to Covid-19 what condoms are to HIV.

Condoms don't have an inhibitive affect on breathing.

if you don't like don't fly!!!

What next? "If you don't like masks, don't go shopping", "If you don't like social distancing, don't visit loved ones" "If you don't like vaccines, don't leave the house" (etc...)

Nah. I'll stand up for my freedom and basic liberties thanks, if it's all the same to you.

As long as they don't make it mandatory, they're welcome do what they want with their 'vaccine'. I'm pro-choice and each to their own. Others should take the jab if they believe it will help them, whereas people like me who won't go near it (mandatory or not) should have the option to say "No thanks".

You would think that some of the people posting on here don't want there to be a cure. Jeez!

Nature is nearly always the best medicine, so it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if there's some truth in this.

Posted in: Tokyo reports 163 new coronavirus cases See in context

What I find ridiculous (Ok, one of the many things, but I digress) about this 'Covid' testing is let's say you've tested negative. You could theoretically catch this 'disease' leaving the clinic on the way out. It's pointless on a monumental scale.

That should be part of the offense, not part of the defense.

Completely agree.

86-year-old man admits killing 16-year-old granddaughter but says he was drunk

That headline! What on earth is the word 'BUT' doing there?! Deary me. There can be nothing justifiable to follow 'man admits killing 16-year-old granddaughter'! Lose those last 5 words, the implication is terrible.

If only every politician was like him. American citizens don't know how lucky they are. He knows what's really behind this scamdemic. I really hope he stays in power.

Absolutely. It feels like he's one of the few world leaders who's putting himself where it hurts in order to benefit the many. The media crucify him every day, and even from this piece you can see how biased some of the writing is. Nobody writes about Biden like this, even though he's a far easier target. When the media empires crumble and free speech is once again abound, everyone, even the haters, will look back and realize that Trump was one of the good guys all along.

Peace.

Posted in: Japanese airline removes passenger refusing to wear face mask See in context

This man didn't break any law, so I think it was unfair of him to be bullied into complying. It's an air-conditioned plane and there's no social distancing, so I can't see that wearing a mask makes much difference. People take them off to eat and drink anyway. Whether you agree with his stance, or not, he was brave in taking a stand against mask fascism. Fair play to him.

Posted in: Japanese airline removes passenger refusing to wear face mask See in context

Sometimes the hypocrisy of mask-wearers borders on comical.

People, you do realize that you’re in a cramped, air tight, air conditioned compartment, with no ‘social distancing’, breathing in each other’s exhalations, right? You DO know that... right?

Passenger: ”I’m not taking my mask of for anything. I don’t want no asymptomatic disease. How dare these maskless ghouls endanger my life.

Flight staff : “In flight meal, sir?

Passenger : “Ooh! Don’t mind if I do! Can I have a coffee please, too?

According to a May survey of around 400 foreigners living in Fukuoka Prefecture by monthly multilingual magazine Fukuoka Now

This whole article is based on a survey conducted in MAY! It's September now. A lot has changed since then, people aren't nearly as edgy about this Covid 'disease' now.

Posted in: Foreigners in Japan becoming target of discrimination due to virus See in context

And extremely selfish and ignorant of them.

I applaud every single one of them for having the guts to stand up to these dumb regulations. I haven't worn a mask since day one of this scamdemic, and will continue not to, and guess what? I've had zero problems from anyone. I've also yet to hear about anyone I know, nor see anyone, who's had this fake disease. It's really rather remarkable for a pandemic, don't you think?

Posted in: Foreigners in Japan becoming target of discrimination due to virus See in context

I was in an online meeting with over 50 other foreigners 2 weeks ago. This story was brought to our attention and we were asked who among us had been targeted for similar abuse. The answer? No-one. A much smaller sample size than Fukuoka Now's, but 0% compared to their 20% makes me think that this story is complete nonsense and created by someone who wishes to stir up trouble. I have encountered absolutely nothing like the 'racism' described here and I don't know anyone who has. I can't stand it when garbage articles like this try and tar Japanese people like this.
