the truth si the South Korean govt established these brothels to earn money for the country...so much for blaming Japan. These comfort women were still working after Japan was booted out, now only with larger sizes.

Posted in: S Korea, Japan to resume 'comfort women' talks See in context

looks like the truth is coming out just like Japan said...Korea established the brothels themselves The suit, filed on June 25, stated that the South Korean authorities subjugated the women and forced them to provide sex, violating their human rights.

Moreover, the group said that they had been obliged to go through medical check-ups for sexually transmitted diseases.

The plaintiffs also urged the authorities to issue an official apology, revealing the true historical facts.

The Korean War lasted from 1950 till 1953 and split the country in two. During the war, the US intervened as South Korea’s ally, while China were allies of the North.

Throughout the war, UN and South Korean comfort stations operated on the frontline.

However, even after hostilities had ended, between the 1950s and 1960s, some 60 percent of all South Korean prostitutes worked near US military camps.

In 1960, two lawmakers in the South Korean National Assembly called on the country’s leadership to train a supply of prostitutes for the allied military, to prevent them from spending their money in Japan instead.

Posted in: Israeli strike kills 18 family members, stirring debate over targets See in context

you live in the house of a high profiled Hamas bent on the destruction of Israel. Hamas started firing rockets, Isreal started dropping bombs. Yesterday, Israel briefly entered Gaza to announce more bombing and asked the civilians to evacuate because heavy bombing will ensue in the next 24 hours. But people remained. Will the Palestenian mourn for these dead people? then let it be a lesson.

Israel just announced that they will bomb the area quite heavily in the next 24 hours and the ground troops went in briefly to warn the residents of the incoming air raid. But yeah, Hamas hides behind the women and children and hope that they many more children and mothers will die. Hate the Hamas. Hate these pigs. Curse their form of Islam.

Hamas is isolated. Turkey, Lebanon, Iran, Egypt and the rest of the muslim world don't care abouth them pigs anymore. Nobody is brokering for peace and Hamas has no way out of this mess just like the old times. They will either accept defeat and cease firing their rockets and suffer humiliation or bring the whole Gaza people into oblivion.

with all the hype, no one honestly believes that Japan has a chance. Its given. Japan is not there yet. They don't have the speed, the stamina, the physical strength, and yes not even the spirit to be called a world class team.

But its all business.

the military must be able to fly anytime to allow the pilots to be accustomed to different time frames. Its a national security for heaven's sake. People move near the base because thats where they find their job then they build their family then complain against the noise.

How about limiting the number of flights?
