Good to see a rapid response team letting people know about this heinous crime 10 months after its occurrence.

It should be e-sports, not esports. I had no idea what this headline meant. I thought it was some new verb I'd never heard before.

Being so much taller, how the hell does an adult manage to bend over and reach down to perform this action without being seen by more than "a store employee"? What exactly was happening here?

Secret Service (protecting a two time prime minister): "there was a loud bang, no one knew what was going on!"

I doubt they were "secret service", whatever that actually means. He's an ex-prime minister, which sounds important, but so what? He's not important to the country anymore, he's just another LDP politician. You don't get 100s of armed bodyguards just because you're a politician.

the perp is likely a suicidal upper middleclass young White who, even with 'gun control', would have no difficulty finding a weapon. We'll see...

This is bizarre. I think all of the mass shooters I can think of would have had a miniscule chance of obtaining a gun if there had been an iota of gun control, because contrary to popular wrong right-wing belief, most mass shooters have not been poor, illiterate "criminals" who got their guns from some shady guy in the 'hood, but instead were pretty regular normal men with mental problems.

Comparing their salaries to those on minimum wage is ludicrous. These workers would have been in their jobs for a good while on average, and be earning 35k p.a. say. Expecting them to be happy with a 2% pay rise when inflation is hitting 9% shows compete economic illiteracy, especially when meanwhile energy companies in the UK are reporting billions of pounds in record profits while fuel costs are hitting £2 a litre and the government merely raises the gas and electric "price cap" every few months rendering the entire "price cap" idea redundant.

Obviously due to lack of substantial evidence the poor girl was probably kidnapped.

Why commenters don't realize that ?

I don't know, I think it would indicate an animal attack more than an abduction surely. If a person had taken her they would have taken her shoes too.

Security camera footage is often appalling. Much worse than commercially available products. Have you ever actually seen a photo of a suspect released by the police?

I have never seen a camera "inside" a Musashino line train, although I haven't been on that line in a few years.

What on earth do you mean "the security video had enough information to identify him"? Do you think we're living in Minority Report? Was his barcode stamped over his head?
