Look to Europe for models, where language education is working. Theory from the USA is not so reliable.

Japan is not overcrowded - Tokyo, Osaka, etc. are crowded. The rest of the country has tons of room, especially for farm help. Fields are lying fallow due to retired farmers, and youth who have no interest or cannot support themselves farming.

We need a maid, but J-companies charge ridiculous rates, unconscionably expensive. I want a nice Filipina/o for a decent rate. Open up!

Almost every car near my home run yellow and red lights. I almost never see a car stop for pedestrian crosswalks. The only thing I see j-cops checking is seatbelt violations, which they can do by just stepping outside their koban, and setting up a mini-sting. If they moved a few meters down the road, they could see an endless stream of cars running red lights. I don't understand their priorities.

Rampant ageism rears its ugly head once again. Ageism is the most ironic forms of discrimination, as all you ageists will be victims in turn.

gaijintravellerOCT. 16, 2013 - 09:10AM JST Note that this was a business, not just a someone with a lot of pets. The animals were basically fashion items, currently popular brands.

The lesson to learn from this is do not buy dogs from pet shops because, if you do, you are supporting this sort of business and share the blame for this sort of incident. There are plenty of nice healthy dogs available for free from shelters. They are probably much healthier than the inbred animals from puppy mill so often sold at pet shops.

Of course they could put buttons here, but then punks would probably push them all the time.
