The problem is that he lied over 100 times in Diet on this issue without confirming with the hotel. If he called the hotel even once for the receipt like the opposition parties were insisting back then (or even today), the Diet did not have to take so much time using our taxed money. Such Diet is so productive...sigh.

I am afraid Tokyo will end up with another declaration of the state of emergency. Infection is clearly spreading, but neither Japanese government nor Koike are taking any substantial countermeasures while they don't want to slow economic activities and/or compensate companies for cooperation. If they do not take actions now, death toll will spike shortly.
