I think some commenters are being unfair to Trump. The whole thing about the dogs shows me Trump will take an ordinary citizen's word at face value and express sincere concern for the situation. That's something I see severely lacking from his opponents: they're not people people. That's why they're always awkward when they try to do common people stuff on social media, like bbq or drinking a beer. Also, as unsavory as it may be to chew on, some cultures do indeed eat dogs. If the accusation Trump mentioned in the debate is wrong, then let's accuse him of being a caring fool for an ordinary American citizen.

Immigrants are likely to find themselves doing low paid, boring, repetitive work.
Excellent point. Now let's review democratic talking points: People of color; aka, African Americans suffer discrimination at many levels including in education. Therefore, they have lower graduation rates and higher drop out rates. Because of this, many African Americans are forced to live on " low paid, boring ,repetitive work." Then, here come the undocumented, and the democrats always put them in the black neighborhoods. Check recent stories going on in New York and Chicago, for example. Now these African Americans must be deprived of what little resources they barely have and compete in the job market with people without a lawful right to work. It makes absolutely zero sense. It's insanity really. Hence many African Americans supporting Trump recently. And Kamala had nothing to say about this at the debate.

I can't believe people seriously think Kamala won that debate. Trump rambled , but his rambling were crystal clear: Kamala's record sucks, her and Joe have destroyed the country and will continue to do so if she's elected. Trump handed her a beautiful economy save for covid. She didn't answer why her administration still keeps Trumps tariffs in place, and why she's been going to his playbook and flip-flopping on the issue. She agrees with the wall now, She says she's pro fracking even though there's video footage of her being fiercely against fracking. She didn't respond to any of it. Trump suggested he send her a mega hat. And her response? Charlottesville, and "bloodbath". Just pitiful. And then her closing endorsements of unity when the whole while her and her ilk are selling division in the name of dei, anti-americanism and pro-illegal immigration. In what universe? Gotta be kidding me!

Kamala lost the debate. Even though Trump kept repeating the same points, they were good points; better points than Kamala could raise had she raised any points at the debate. She put on her girlfriend face and pretended to be flabbergasted--it was all a mediocre act, but that's what she did. She still didn't explain her failure on the border, her skipping the democratic process to get to the debate, her being a part of the cover up of Joe's mental decline, record inflation and so on. All I heard was things she's gonna do that she's already had three years' time to do. And then a second debate is proposed. Trump has jumped through their hoops twice, met their demands twice, been unfairly treated by the moderators--twice. Trump should only agree to a third debate on his terms. That's democratic. Would the democrats be democratic and accept? Im not waiting around.

Trump spanked her behind. it got so bad, Kamala had to get dirty and bring up the many times debunked Charlottesville. That expressed extreme weakness on Kamala's part, I think. It was dishonorable. Trump got brutal when he discussed Kamala's bypassing the democratic process on her way to the debate, disqualifying 14 million votes for Biden by the people, and her epic failure at the first round of primaries in 2019.

She has evolved in her views.
That's fine. The point is, you all owe Trump and maga a sincere apology. Maga has been more "evolved" than all of you for some time now.

Absolutely disgraceful in my opinion. She showed the world she had no principles when she latched her wagon to Joe Biden's, after trying to convince me and everyone else that he was a racist, and after failing in the first round of the primaries after she was exposed as fraud by Tulsi. Now, just like an oleaginous politician, she's pandering for votes. Sorry, Kamala, I'm not buying it. Yours and Joe's policies over the last three years have hurt the country irreversibly. You can jump off a far right cliff and I still wouldn't vote for you. You're still very much in favor of illegal immigration.

hollywood couldn't write a script about a fictional character funnier than trump. he's like "the office" of politics.
That's an excellent analogy. On the surface, Trump seems outrageous, just like Michael Scott. And just like Michael Scott, who deep inside is a decent person who just wants what's best for his employees and company, trump really wants the best for Americans and the United States. That why we like him.

She didn't actually, but this river she will be debating and actual racist.
Yeah she did. We all saw it in 2019. Just like we all know she was put in charge of the border. People need to stop this stuff and start arguing in good faith.

Hot mics might work in trumps favor. Right when vp Harris starts to pontificate about her record, trump can simply interrupt, with his lips pursed like when he said "china" to that reporter a few years back; he can simply say, Tulsi.

At least the democrats are being consistent: first muted mics, now no muted mics; defend democracy, yet place a person in the campaign nobody voted for; say the border isn't a problem; now say you'll fix the border if elected president despite being vp for 3.5 years; say your policies are better than trump's yet give no interviews or answer questions to clarify those policies; say mind your business yet set up a snitch hotline, and then all the hypocrisies John Stewart just went over. At least the democrats can be trusted to enter the debate in good faith. Just after trump clears a few more hoops.

Untrue. The hidden hands of power engaged in gunboat diplomacy: the 25th was dangling above Joe's head. The one's with stentorian voices in defense of democracy performed a sort of coupe. No one formally voted. That's how it works--said champions of authoritarianism since time immemorial.

Posted in: Harris blitzes battlegrounds as Trump schedule raises eyebrows See in context
The authors paint a powerful picture of Trump. He's 78 years old and still doing rallies at least once a week; all while just surviving an assassination attempt; he's got his opponents scrambling in battleground states; he's still a force to be reckoned with despite his opponent's surging numbers. Trump is starting to look like the real teflon Don as far as the democrats are concerned.
It also seems unlikely that Trump is dodging a debate with Kamala. Trump had a prearranged debate with Biden, not Kamala. Yet, the gentleman he is, he still committs to it, even after first needing to jump through a series of their hoops. Trump has already cooperated on their terms. It's time Kamala commit to a debate on Trumps terms: neutral moderators not affiliated with the leftist commentariat class, no teleprompters, and a live audience.

Trump raises a good point. Many black Americans are also questioning her blackness. As we speak, black twitter is eating her up because of her affectatious southern accent on recently on display in Atlanta. It's also been suggested that her Jamaican side were slave holders in Jamaica. So, Trump does raise a valid point. And it seems he's in unison with many black Americans.

It's quite hard to believe Kamala when Tulsi already exposed Kamala's record a few years ago. And the whole thingy about a choice between freedom and chaos is preposterous. At every Trump rally it's all about freedom and red white and blue and racial harmony and unity. Every time the democrats have a rally it's complete chaos. Loud, disconnected, concert-like. And what's more chaotic than what's happening with the democrats as we speak? How many voters were disenfranchised when Biden threw in the towel? Now the powers that be on the left will decide? I think I know chaos when I see it Mrs. Harris.
