Posted in: China unhappy over Abe's ritual offering to Yasukuni shrine See in context

Between July and September Chinese planes prompted 117 scrambles of Japanese SDF planes. Xi defends China's development in S.China Sea saying "Chinese people will not allow anyone to infringe on China's sovereignty and related rights and interests in the area" (Source NHK)

This is just China's usual hypocritical way of trying to take the focus off themselves with this broken record shrine business. If it wasn't this it would be something else, it it wasn't Abe it would be someone else.

The issue is this: why can't we trust China to protect and preserve the truth? Why should UNESCO be used as a rubber stamp on one side of a controversial topic?"

Yes, exactly right. But the people on here hate Japan, so they will give thumbs down, always

Posted in: Japan, China must move on from excessive focus on past: Abe See in context

Gotta love Abe's comment about a pacifist history. He left out the part where the pacifism was forced after 50 years of unprovoked attacks on peaceful nations while trying to take over Asia

Clearly he is talking postwar. Makes me wonder though, why the foreigners among those of you that appear to despise Japan and ANYTHING she does live here. Perhaps you should live elsewhere, somewhere that meets your approval.

Guess what, the vast majority of people do not eat or condone eating whale meat.

As someone mentioned earlier, please don't presume to tell me (or the vast majority) if we condone or even eat whale meat.

ringman2 : ""Abe's spies??...ha ha they are a laughing stock in the eyes of the intelligence community and China."

Like you would know

Anyone can see this is china's protest to the new security measures Japan has taken recently. Now they can say "See we told you Japan were getting all military...." China are hypocrites and known liars, why should anyone believe them

ringman2 you are a funny if not deluded person. China stealing from japan and USA for years - you really do live on another planet. You use the word envious and say Japan has zero innovation. I would say a country that constantly steals (everyone but you knows it) is a country without innovation

Japanese held by Chinese authorities for espionage

For what? - More rubbish from Asia's troublemakers. Perhaps the chinese think Japanese want to steal their technology - yeh right

Wc626 One of the first things that "shocked" me about Japan when I was new here, was that how Japanese men put their company (& careers) first.

Well this is Japan not your country, its normal. Those that have really lived here know this. Its the way it is

It is the way it is, immigration won't solve it. Any measures to increase birthrates, should they be taken will not show results overnight.

It's 2015 and they're speaking to a demographic that buys their products. Mad Men was a TV show about the 1950's. :D

I thought MS's demographic was everyone on the planet, not just the scruffy layabouts but the shavers and suit wearers too. It may 2015 but people still dress properly for interviews don't they? I wonder why

It seems everyone has taken to this Steve Jobs walk around the stage in scruffy clothes routine, droning on about what their product is supposed to do (yawn). Get a shave and wear a suit!

@Mr. Noidall Man, the hatred and bitterness towards Japan by hating and bitter foreigners is overflowing here. If you hate Japan this >much, and you hate the PM, and you hate the politics, and every things else you bitch and moan about on other topics, >why don't you just leave then?

Someone was bound to say it. Well said @ Mr. Noidall

ringman2 As I said many times, Japan cannot keep badmouthing others and China...China never badmouths Japan and it won, so >Japan should learn something from that.

Where in the article above does it quote Japan as badmouthing China. You say "China never badmouths Japan" What planet do you live on?
