South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said the North Korean warplanes were detected in various areas inland and along the country’s eastern and western coasts, but they did not come particularly close to the inter-Korean border.

None of those planes breached the South Korean military’s virtual “tactical action” line, which is designated 20 to 50 kilometers (12 to 31 miles) north of the Koreas’ land and sea boundaries for monitoring purposes to give the South enough time to respond to provocations or attacks.

Multinational corporations and their backers.

John Pilger made a documentary about this which can be viewed on Youtube called The New Rulers of the World.

Here is a summary:

[ John Pilger’s documentary on globalisation brings together several of the themes that run throughout his work – the way in which superpowers use small countries as pawns in their global strategies, the courting of dictators by the West to open the doors to valuable resources and the exploitation of workers in those countries to provide riches in which they do not share.

The New Rulers of the World puts the story of multinationals’ global domination into a political context and demonstrates how the West has increased its stranglehold on poor countries by using the might of the IMF, World Bank and World Trade Organization to control their economies. ]

Check the facts-

US sponsored Chiang Kai shek ran away to Taiwan after being trounced by Mao in China, despite having American weapons, fighter jets etc at his disposal.

Chiang and Shanghai mafia cohorts then set up shop with US support in Taiwan to be a thorn in the side of China and provide future opportunities to provoke a conflict which would enable the US to complete what it had originally sought to do via Chiang, as it currently does now now with South Korea and Japan; exercise US hegemony to further US interests.

Ever talk to anyone from Taiwan? Most adults live with their parents, because they HAVE TO due to the fact that the average salaries are barely enoough to pay rent. That is the magical reality of gangster democracy in Taiwan, and what certain people are saying we need to commit billions of dolllars to fight and die for.

The west has not forgotten which nation refused to allow UN sponsored national elections in 1947

The majority of South Koreans also oppposed the UN elections, which may have led to the US-installed Rhee Syngman to start massacreing ROK citizens who were not viewed as pro-US, starting with Jeju do in 1948 and then continuing with the massive Bodo League incident, which was based on the fact that the majority of ROK citizens were anti-US in 1950.

Actually it's much worse- not just Yokosuka, but all throughout Japan where there are US bases...this was reported elsewhere (obviously not here which is why some posters here are oblivious to the facts) 2 years ago-

TOKYO -- An Environment Ministry water quality study has revealed that contamination levels at 37 water sources exceeded provisional national targets, with high levels of two types of chemical compounds suspected to induce cancer found near U.S. military bases and industrial areas throughout Japan.

https://mainichi.jp/english/articles/20200619/p2a/00m/0na/020000c

And guess what, the whole Pacific region:

[ The U.S. military presence in the Pacific is generally discussed in terms of geopolitics and strategy. Less prominent are analyses of the human and environmental impact of U.S. military bases and weapons tests. Jon Mitchell, a Japan-based journalist, has long investigated precisely those problems. Mitchell, the author of three Japanese-language books on military contamination outlines the environmental impact of the U.S. post-war military presence in his new book, “Poisoning the Pacific.” ]

Ah no, not propaganda.

The LDP is in the US' hip pocket to the extent that if Kamiji made a false statement about the US military he would be out on his butt in a second.

Added to that is the US military has already been confirmed to have been guilty of dumping toxic chemicals in various countries around the world where they have bases...they literally produce tons of toxic wastes with all of their activities, and yes those toxic wastes have to go somewhere.

The 1965 Treaty will never be agreed to because it was made with then president Park Chung-hee, who during WWII swore fealty to Emperor Hirohito with his own blood signature before serving in the Japanese Imperial Army.

Then of course after WWII Park was sent by the US to train at Fort Sill in Oklahoma before returning to South Korea and leading the illegal coup d'etat which resulted in him being installed as president.

So actually there are two major reasons why the 1965 Treaty will never be agreed to...and the third and perhaps biggest reason is the majority of the money that Japan paid to supposedly compensate the Koreans who labored for the Japanese during the war was never relayed to those people but instead was used by Park to develop South Korea, i.e. highways and bridges.

Here we go again-

conservative pro-US party with roots in assisting Japan when Korea was a Japanese colony will attempt to patch things up, then when the public outcry comes they will backpedal...then when the opposition party comes into power again they will sweep aside all that the conswrvatives have done...in real terms the Korean war rages on even within South Korea.

Being swindled out of money is just one facet about how cults can impact families...obviously Yamagami was also subject to being brought up in a household upended by a mentally weak/off the rails mother, which obviously had something to do with his father and brother committing suicide, so this isn't simply about money, it's much bigger than that.

The fact that cults will target and intentionally exploit people like Yamagami's mother puts lawmakers aligned with such cults who are paid by citizens to look after them on thin ice regarding those individuals who have suffered as a direct result of those lawmakers working closely with and mutually profiting with said cults.

Nothing to be surprised about (i.e. the fact that it's Korean-based, that the network is so widespread and deep, etc.) if you understand what was unearthed by Congress about the UC- that it is essentially an anti-communist political tool created ultimately by the CIA (via the KCIA) to be used to further US hegemony in East Asia.

Once one sees that, it's obvious that Kishi (released from Sugamo prison by the US to do its bidding) would go along and help the UC gain a foothold in Japan, as it's clearly another key member of the pro-US/anti-communist coalition...goes hand in hand with the fact that the LDP was essentially installed by the CIA.

[ In 1977, the Subcommittee on International Organizations of the Committee on International Relations, of the United States House of Representatives reported that the movement was established by Kim Chong Pil, director of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency, for political purposes.[11]

[ In 1997, Congressman Donald Fraser launched an investigation into Moon's cult. The 444-page Congressional report alleged Moonie involvement with bribery, bank fraud, illegal kickbacks, and arms sales. The report revealed that Moon's 20,000-member Unification Church was a creation of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency (KCIA). The Moonies were working with KCIA Director Kim Chong Phil as a political instrument to influence U.S. foreign policy. The U.S. CIA was the agency primarily responsible for founding the KCIA after WW II. ]

[ In a major covert operation of the cold war, the Central Intelligence Agency spent millions of dollars to support the conservative party that dominated Japan's politics for a generation.

Though the C.I.A.'s financial role in Japanese politics has long been suspected by historians and journalists, the Liberal Democrats have always denied it existed, and the breadth and depth of the support has never been detailed publicly. Disclosure of the covert aid could open old wounds and harm the Liberal Democrats' credibility as an independent voice for Japanese interests.

"This story reveals the intimate role that Americans at official and private levels played in promoting structured corruption and one-party conservative democracy in post-war Japan, and that's new," said John Dower, a leading Japan scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. "We look at the L.D.P. and say it's corrupt and it's unfortunate to have a one-party democracy. But we have played a role in creating that misshapen structure." ]

China has not used missiles to attack other countries.

Everyone knows the US' track record...any wonder that China is not happy with the US building missile-related facilities and selling missiles to neighboring countries?

It's not rocket science.

For the same reason that Russia felt compelled to invade Ukraine after the US installed missile-related facilities in Romania and Poland, China may be goaded into a conflict over Taiwan, something not lost on Pelosi and her associates.

[ May 1953: Attacks on major dams[edit]

After running low on urban targets, U.S. bombers destroyed hydroelectric and irrigation dams in the later stages of the war, flooding farmland and destroying crops.[26]

On 13 May 1953, 20 F-84s of the 58th Fighter Bomber Wing attacked the Toksan Dam, producing a flood that destroyed seven hundred buildings in Pyongyang and thousands of acres of rice. On 15–16 May, two groups of F-84s attacked the Chasan Dam.[27] The flood from the destruction of the Toksan dam "scooped clean" 27 miles (43 km) of river valley. The attacks were followed by the bombing of the Kuwonga Dam, the Namsi Dam and the Taechon Dam.[28][29] The bombing of these five dams and ensuing floods threatened several million North Koreans with starvation; according to Charles K. Armstrong, "only emergency assistance from China, the USSR, and other socialist countries prevented widespread famine."[20]

And yea, I put more stock in those researchers than your testimony.
