She got a gash 3 centimeters DEEP? Don't you mean 3 cm long? A 3cm deep gash would have gone into her brain. How many knives can penetrate bone like that?
Moderator: Thanks for pointing that out. It has been corrected.

The writer could have told us more about Kurosawa's mental illness. Just how nutty was he? He must have been pretty screwy to be fired after only 3 weeks.
By the way, 'Volland", Hawaii WAS part of the U.S. in 1941, it just hadn't achieved statehood yet. Same goes for Alaska. It's you who are wrong, not anyone else.

It's amazing that Japanese tolerate this highly-suspect Fifth Column among them. How can those Koreans be "loyal to the regime" in North Korea, when they surely know what it's guilty of? It just shows that Koreans can't use the excuse that they are "brainwashed" by North Korean propaganda because they don't get any of that here in Japan. They're all complicit in the evil the regime perpetuates. Deport them NOW.

I have 2 questions: (1) He joined the police force in 2008 when he was 18. Why accept police trainees that young? And (2): Is it legal to identify the cop's name when he hasn't even been convicted yet?

All colonial powers committed abuses. The Japanese were probably worse, but I'm only using the word "probably" because many historians aren't sure which nation's actions were the most brutal. Any apology from Russia for 40 years of imposed communism in Eastern Europe? Any apology from North Korea for its torture camps?
Any apology from anyone except Japan ????

Japan has apologized repeatedly for its actions in the war. I don't see the Chinese apologizing for human rights abuses, not the Russians.
