Why do they even fight back at Cheney's criticisms? Are they concerned that Cheney is actually right and they need to find a way to counter him for public opinion?

If Napalitono was an isolated incident, we could overlook it. Unfortunately, Obama has his cabinet filled with miscreants and criminals. At least with Bush, I thought his heart and head were in the right place even if he made mistakes. With Obama, it seems like everything has a hidden agenda attached to it.

Case in point. Obama recently pushed the Mortgage modification plan which spent $27B to convert 31,000 mortgages. That's $871K per mortgage, where the national average home price was $178K. Huh? Only in Obama's pretend world does that make sense, but then again, I'm just a bitter conservative (who doesn't like his tax dollars wasted)...

TheMarion you need to look at how long it took bush to react to any bombing we suffered. It wasn't like he did anything immediately. he took months to get anything done. < :-)

Liberals like to claim that Bush "shot from the hip" and didn't make thoughtful decisions, but think back to the Iraq war. The U.S. and Britain began operations on 3/20/2003 after being attacked on 9/11/2001. Some would say that he took too long, but that's hardly shooting from the hip.

I look forward to Obama leaving office to bring someone in who will take terrorism seriously. One only needs to look at Obama's homeland security secretary (Janet Napaolitano). She was a reasonable Governor, but when she said that "the system worked" regarding the Christmas day attack, she was obviously disconnected from reality (much like her boss).

Nothing will change here. Obama views terrorists as criminals and doesn't have the backbone to do the right thing. Further, while U.S./Russian tensions were low during the Bush presidency, they're now increasing with Obama's cowardice (note Putin's recent statement that Russia will develop offensive weapons so that American can't "do what they want"). Obama is the worst thing that could have happened to the U.S. in this environment.

Interesting that most of the otaku standing around aren't paying much attention to them. Is it impolite to stare?

Al Qaeda succeeded in blowing up four planes over the US on bush's watch. Terrorism is on the wane now that Obama's in charge.

Interestingly, after Obama spoke about not resting until these terrorists were brought to justice, he returned to his golf game. What a milquetoast president we have. People voted for CHANGE in Obama, but they didn't realize it was of the negative variety...

I, for one, won't watch. These people make a living by pretending to be other people. Then, they alienate half of their audience (conservatives) with their incoherent political rants. If I want to here someone rambling away incoherently, I'll listen to Obama.

I think it's great that Walsh publicized the "Hot Coffee" mod for GTA San Andreas. I would have never known about it, otherwise, so I appreciate his efforts. It was another fun aspect to the GTA series.

Nothing will change. Political correctness will kill our ability to fight terrorists, or simply stop and question them in an airport for fear of offending them. Further proof is Obama's dislike for the phrase "war on terror." His milquetoast approach to dealing with terrorists is only emboldening them. One has to wonder which side he's on...

The U.S. knew that the Christmas day attacker was someone to watch (his own father communicated to the U.S. that he was a radical). It all comes down to people, and their ability to ignore "political correctness" and follow their gut. In the U.S. after 9/11, old ladies in wheelchairs were under high scrutiny, but a young muslim man was allowed to pass without question. This was done to prove to the world that we don't racial profile... Dangerous and ignorant, since one can name many muslim terrorist attempts, but none from old ladies in wheelchairs...

I lived in England for a time and attended a British school where students were taught that WWII was fundamentally over when the Americans joined in. It's not clear this is what's happening in Japan, but having a skewed and irrational view of reality does not bode well for the future...

The majority polls show that Americans are against this health-care reform. A couple of points -- it benefits 15M Americans, at the expense of many, many more. Why not just push through a bill that helps those 15M instead of trying to corral everyone together? Because this bill is about control of the U.S. through control of health-care. It will kill healthcare and pharma in this country, and Obama and the Dems will eventually pay for it.

Oddly, this bill contains things (such as abortion funding) that Obama said that he would oppose. It also lacks language on loopholes for illegal aliens, also something Obama said that he opposed. This bill is a socialist's dream. But it comes at a cost that all American's will have to pay. Thankfully, it will cost the Dems in 2010 and Obama in 2012. Toss the bums out!

I'm glad that the Dems pushed this so hard. Can't wait for 2010 and 2012 to vote these bums out of office. What's most fascinating is that while Obama campaigned on open and transparent Govt, we got nothing that even remotely looks like it. Yet another slimy politician.
