@bjohnson23: I am not an honest Indian. I am a selfish countryman who is concerned with this kind of crime. It may be happening everywhere but when it comes to my country I feel ashamed. I love my country and I only wish my country to be liked, appreciated and looked upon as a positive contributer to the world. We are a developing country and Indian society is changing rapidly. Social and lifestyle differences are very high which may be one cause. We are trying to solve it. We can't just get away saying that see it happens everywhere. what is wrong if an Indian did it or can we??

This is Shame for us, Indians. We are facing it as major issue and many Goverment and Non Govt institutes are working against it. Women Security is also treated as national issue like corruption, unemployment, development, pollution, population etc. Whenever my Japanese friends asks me about India tour, places, dos n donts. I always mention don't trust unknown, don't eat anything from unknown, don't go to remote place alone. India is beautiful and has rich heritage. There are lot to offer for tourists. But we Indians are ugly and shameless people who are insulting its glorious heritage and raping India's beauty.
