Posted in: TV Asahi Olympic coverage worker injured after attending all-night party See in context
What this article fails to mention is that the group was not leaving, just the woman who was heavily intoxicated. Because it was 4am and the entrance on the first floor was closed, this woman decided to exit the building from the window on the second floor, traversing over the billboard just outside the window, and fell to the ground, breaking her leg as a result. The group that was still enjoying their karaoke and alcohol didn't realize that the woman fell and injured herself until the police came in to ask if she was one of them. TV Asahi was known to be critical of the Japanese government for hosting the Tokyo 2020 Olympics during this pandemic, all the while covering the games extensively. What a joke.
