70! That's tough! I guess 60 is universally accepted as the retirement age.

Not just washing machines! Cars too! Every year, hundreds of children get locked up inside cars and eventually die due to heat strokes and suffocation in the period May-October. Machine designers must add 'children' as a design parameter. If a child dies, he/she is not a number but a soul and a member of a loving family. Children lives matter.

Tragedy! The train company should be held responsible for the negligence for they must have checked the fence around the tracks regularly. My deep condolences to the kids'family. I just cannot imagine how the parents and the driver must be feeling now.

4.26 million yen = 35000 $. Very cheap! It should be profitable in Kyoto city centre

I think the reason for this is a soft retaliation against the murders ISIS committed. We shock mock ISIS not prophet Muhammed who came to abolish ISIS-like mindset.

I think any added involvement against IS is good but not a solution. Who made IS? Who finance them? The UN should study the roots of the problem. IS was created out of militia fighting Assad's regime. The UN knows who financed those groups!

My sincere condolences to Goto's mother. This is a very horrible period not just for her but for all the people threatened by IS such as the people in Syria, Iraq, Bahrain, etc. The UN must track down the roots of IS.

Posted in: Indian police arrest 3 for gang rape of Japanese scholar See in context

SPaul says the rapists are from muslim background. I say they are indians. In addition, were the bus rapists also of muslim background or hindu background? The problems in india are law enforcement, over population, equality, poverty, education, cultural morale, safety, etc.

There is a high probability for crimes such as rape to spread im such a huge, uncontrolled country. Hence, the Indian government should provide trusted tour guides to save tourists from being raped.

I think she should be imprisoned. The Penis Festival must be also stopped. The porn industry must be also controlled.
