The guy was not on active duty. He was not hired by the base, so why take it out on the base personnel? Out of respect? LMAO and their way of thinking.

That seems to be the way Japanese resolve their issues. Cant deal with a bully KILL YOUR SELF, cant deal with an employee or coworker KILL THEM or KILL YOURSELF, can`t raise a child KILL THEM. WTH is wrong with this country and their way of dealing with life situations! It seems that for everyone else, looking the other way instead of helping is the way things are. Damn shame, so many needless deaths, specially of children.

It's all about the Benjamins! Well in this case Yen! No honor anymore Nobody care who they hurt as long as they make their money. Sad thing is that it will not change cause nobody in power cares enough to hold the guilty accountable. Only if people boycott these companies would anything possibly change, but doubt it would ever happen.

There have been cases of boyfriends killing his girlfriend's kids. We don't know anything other than that which was posted. So all we can do is speculate. In any case sad ending indeed. I truly hope the claim was real and not ,made up by the kid, since kids do lie, especially if they miss dad and/or want attention.

Slapping anyone else's kid 20 times, headbutting them and threatening to kill them ,or any person for that matter, is nothing less than criminal. The fact that he took the boy to the bathroom shows he intended on doing something he was not supposed to do.

Japanese are taught to be submissive to superiors so they get abused all the time. Just imagine what would happen if the folks in this country grew a pair and decided to go on strike until these labor issues were addressed.

@TheGodfather you don't know what I think, just what I felt like commenting. A child got stabbed because his dad was careless and his mom was mentally unstable, end of story. Miserable event for all.

Posted in: Woman stabs 8-year-old son, then herself See in context
From what I have seen, many women learn to be moms, right there and then as the baby pops out. I have not heard of many young girls being taught or prepared by their mothers in any way. What I have seen is the grand mom coming over to stay for a couple of months to help out and support. Sometimes there are women who are not ready for this kind of stress and there are those who are just nuts. Mental issues can arise after birth and lead to things like this if left untreated. From the moment the wife told the husband she wanted to die, he should have down something about it. In any case who cares what any of us thinks, a child suffered greatly and may die and THAT is terrible on every level.

I asked a friend of mine who is a nurse and she confirmed that for single staff members, supervisors WILL do a welfare check in case they do not call or show up for work. She also indicated that if no contact is made, next of kin will be called, then the police.

@Peace Out: It has happened more than once, but guess you may have forgotten. Many stories have come out of folks buring their victims in their front yard or families yard to cover up the crime.
In regards to the implication of age, It seems to be perhaps because there have been many cases of older guy on younger child/teen violence. In any case it is good that these stupid people are getting caught. Too bad they are not punished accordingly on many occasions.

This was probably not the first time she did that and that is why she was robbed. Inside job is very likely. It is also possible it wads just bad luck. Wrong place, wrong time. She would not have been the first woman robbed in this manner.

@Strangerland typical you are coming on here attacking posters. It is about accepting responsibility. Mother should have foreseen the danger of living on such a high floor with 3 little ones to the extent of making dang sure they could not open those windows. The father too. Stop being a keyboard warrior. Kid is still dead and the parents are still at fault, PERIOD!

@therougou prints to prove there was a lady or if the girl did it to herself! And YES it is careless to leave you kids in the car. Just cause your mom did it 30 years ago, it doesn't mean it was any less careless. Your parents took a risk and that is the issue. Bad things can happen anytime and the smart thing to do is avoid helping them to happen.

Seems Frank may have a point there, but there was no mention of the scissors at the scene cause I am sure they would have been processed for prints. It is possible the girl could have been a target of revenge against the mother. Guess the truth will come out soon enough. Parents must be careful with what shows the kids watch...kids are like sponges and may absorb the wrong ideas.
