Posted in: Kanye West gets 7 Grammy nominations; Adele, Mars, Foos get 6 See in context

I'd love to see Taylor Swift come on stage and grab the mic from Kanye West. "Hold on!! I'm going to let you finish in a minute......Jay-Z had the best album of all time!!! That would be the perfect revenge considering Kanye wasn't nominated for Best Album.

I'm pretty sure if that were to ever happen it would be a parody. Rudeness does not always warrant paybacks because that then leads to a cycle of nastiness. Taylor Swift takes the upper hand by being kind and forgiving in return. I believe they have worked out their differences and resolved the situation while others keep bringing it up. Unless you know Kanye personally, you really have no idea what type of person he is outside what he presents in the media.

Anyway, I'm glad that they didn't put both Kanye and Adele's album in the same listing for best album because they are really two different styles. I hope Adele wins, she's a powerhouse. I'm just glad Beyonce', Rihanna, and Nikki Minaj aren't in the running with her. Ugh.

Yikes. This is concerning. I really like Honda and I'm glad they are doing this recall but it makes me less likely to keep them as my go to company for a car.

I'm always amazed how many seem to not know about what happened to the Japanese in America or have "forgotten". I remember reading about them in high school, not because my school taught it but because I enjoyed reading anything I could get my hands on. The Holocaust is taught but what was done to Japanese Americans on our soil is barely mentioned.

What a horrible story. "Oh, I remember killing the first guy but I was drunk so the other two were just collateral damage." I'm with Al Stewart, how did he get in the kitchen?

Posted in: Japan to offer 10,000 free trips to foreigners to boost tourism industry See in context

I understand the arguments that people are presenting against this but I thinkt it is a good idea. I think it is unfair to assume that people who sign up this would not know the other costs involved into traveling to Japan. I would think that those who sign up would be people who really want to visit Japan and haven't for various reasons. Having the flight somewhat paid for would remove a good portion of the cost and would allow for that money to possibly pay for a better hotel than those signing up might have gotten if they would have paid for the flight on their own.
