Trump is a pathological liar. You can’t trust anything he says.

If that isn’t clear to you by now, it never will be.

Yes. They believe every thing he says is gospel. He's their god, their saviour. Nothing he says is a lie.

It's the same as all cults.

If you believe an orange grifter from Queens is sent by god as your savior, you may be in a cult.

If you send money every month to a man you believe is a billionaire because he says he desperately needs it, you may be in a cult.

If you believe your thrice-married leader who cheated on all of his wives is a family man, you may be in cult.

If you believe your leader buried his ex-wife beside his golf course because that's what rich people do, you may be in a cult.

If you believe your orange god who has suggested overthrowing the Constitution would only be a dictator for a day, you may be in a cult.

If you believe a man who says noise from wind mill turbines causes cancer is some kind of genius, you may be in a cult.

The entire attacks on Trump is a political farce during an election year as a leading Presidential candidate is far, far worse.

Ha ha ha... Same old conspiracy theory about your orange god.

Chinese craftsmanship that rivals the US

Even though US craftsmanship is totally pathetic, I doubt the Chinese are matching it.

Yes definitely. I'm quite happy to lose against Man C if it denys Woolwich the title. COYS!

Not sure if it will be enough for Pochettino to keep his job though.

Be a shame if they don't give him a chance. Same with Ange at Spurs.

Arteta spent a few years with Woolwich misfiring before he got them running smoothly on all cylinders. They were smart to give him a few years to turn the team around.

Posted in: Liverpool shatter Spurs' top four bid as Villa eye Champions League See in context

Let's face it Spurs were never going to overtake Villa, with the run in games that Spurs have and their poor form lately.

I'm a Spurs fan for over 50 years - often disappointed. Miss the days of Steve Archibald, Ricky Villa, et al.

Likely we are not going to be caught from behind (Magpies do have chance though), so most satisfaction would come from a Spurs loss to Man City to deny the title going to the Woolwich Scum.

What a load of rubbish. No one says that it was drab when Lewis, Seb or Michael were dominating the sport over multiple seasons.

Red Bull have achieved a period of technical & sporting excellence like Mercedes did before, Red Bull again previously and before them Maclaren, Ferrari and Williams.

This "drab" nonsense is written by people who have no understanding of the sport and have come into it during the third season if Drive to Survive rather than being a seasoned enthusiast though the eras of people like Alain, Nelson, Nigel, Ayrton, Michael, Seb, Kimi, Juan Pablo, Mika, et al.

Same people that assume a "Murray Walker" is either a whisky cocktail or an old persons mobility aid.

I finished the reforming in 6 months and I did all the work including electrics and plumbing. We didn't have family there.

Concur with that. Mine was slightly different. 350 sqm house completely reformed in 8 months. We completely gutted it to a shell. Had a terrific solo general contractor that sub contracted the specialities. Always was under budget and in time. I mainly project managed and the contractor often thought I was mad for the ways I wanted stuff done. Overall a great experience. I have my eyes on some other nearby to do it again and sell on.

Hail the size of golf balls for 100 km along the Harima-nada coast. Very fearful. Extensive damage.

Yeah that was a big one. We were just on the edge of it and 2,000 feet up the mountain - I guess the hail has less far to fall..! But was a big old downpour.

4 people lacking a sense of humour. Are you Royalists? Or just Brits in general? You need to loosen up. It’s just a joke, OK?

I don't think it's the Brits. Just some people are incapable to think laterally & confuse the subject of a joke with the target of a joke. I thought it was quite self deprecating on the part of the UK. Maybe because I didn't mention a battered sausage; it made it too obscure. Battered sausage would surely exceed the meal budget however.

While clearly (to any rational adult) Trump is a deranged narcissistic rapist lunatic, it is common practise around the world for ruling party members form many countries to meet with opposition leaders in other countries, especially in the year before a general election.

In this case these two odious populist lunatics meeting is particularly bile inducing.

Trump will indeed stop this or pull it back. And he would be right to do so.

That's very communist.

Sounds like China or Russia.

You guys are saying & hoping that Trump will enforce a policy of state control?

Posted in: Iran launches drone attack at Israel See in context

but the origin of Iranian extremism is yet again a US instigated coup to remove a democratic socialist, Mossadegh, who wanted to end the exploitation of his nations oil . Replacing him with a murderous, foreign investment friendly Shah.

The Shah was there all along, he was not a replacement.

The coups origins were instigated by Britain and became a partnership project between Churchill & Eisenhower.

To suggest Mosaddegh was an advocate of democracy is a bit of a stretch. And he was already a dictator when he was overthrown.

The overthrow could never have happened if it wasn't for a large proportion of Iranians supporting Britian, plus many of Mosaddegh's own people turning against him as they could see that he had become a nutcase dictator.

If you think that Iran would not have gone down the same path even sooner without the coup, then I think you're mistaken.

You're correct though that the Shah who reclaimed his power was most definitely "murderous, foreign investment friendly".
