Agree with Jokervic. Edmunds should have been a gentleman and called the foul on himself, and these fans are a disgrace for supporting a cheat

It would hard for the performance to be any worse. The Koreans cheating/getting to the semi-final a few years back was probably the highlight and will remain so for the forseeable future.

No, he is too old, and also must take responsibility for the failure along with Nishino

Posted in: Social media users praise Japan for spotless locker room at World Cup See in context

It is standard practice in Japan, as most gyms and sports facilities cannot hire cleaning staff as it is too expensive. This also helps keep out cheaper foreign workers who could do these jobs.

You think that's brilliant? All it did was waste valuable time and put him at risk of a red card"

The brilliant bit was the surreptitiousness! That took skill.

Japan is actually not very hot compared to many other South Asian nations or Middle East. These heatstroke cases are actually a statistical anomaly caused by having so many old people, who might have gotten sick anyway.. Anyway it allows the government to scare people with big numbers and gets them all the chant, atsui atusi, or achui achui as they ride around in non-airconditioned trains.

Coach totally to blame for collapse as he did not train players to play full out to final whistle as in the previous game. Also, they had a poor defense against the counter on the final goal. Halilhodzic would have prepared them better for such situations than Nishino.
