I am returning from a business trip in Nagano by train and the train is not at all crowded (much less than normal at this time of year). My client started the year with remote working unless personnel absolutely need to be at the factory right from the start of the year which is good.
LMAO what a joke. Every train I've seen has been packed to the brim with only about a fifth of people wearing masks, and this has been the same since the start of 2020. Also well done in spreading the virus around the country and infecting your fellow countrymen. Let me guess, Japan has done the best job in the world in handling this virus due to its 'superior culture" right? ROFL

@divinda. Rubbish. Japan ordered the Pfizer vaccine earlier this year and they have had months to prepare, just like other countries. Pfizer manufactured huge amounts of vaccine while waiting for trials and licensing to finish. Japan won’t start the vaccination programme as they are waiting for a ‘Japanese’ vaccine. Must keep the Party donors happy.
Spot on. Japan ordered these vaccines at the same time as the rest of the world and the rest of the world has finished their preparations whereas Japan hasn't even started and is still holding out for a Japanese vaccine (which will never come obviously).

Agree with the sentiment here, Japan has a perverse obsession with heritage sites not seen in any other country. And woodworking? Are you kidding me lol? Just mark the entire country as a heritage site jeez

So why do the Japanese have this belief in ‘purity’ of race?
The answer to this may explain why this issue keeps returning again and again to the news.
Well, the creationist myth put forward by the state in the Shinto religion finds its origins with Amaterasu the sun god.
Definitely agree, pretty much all Japanese I have spoken to believe they are descended from a sun god, absolute lunacy. A few centuries behind the rest of us

Have you browsed the crime section of this site lately? There have been missing kids, hit and run resulting in death and others in the news of recent.
Agree, every day there are more horror crime stories than one can reasonably stomach, far far more than any other country's news I've seen and you see crime in the streets every day. Japan has become crime infested this year

Owwwww Japan wants to be friends! So cute, so needy.
Yeah Japan is like a creepy spurned girlfriend looking to rekindle a past fling. Might be best for the US to let Japan go its own way

Instead of stuff like this, it's unbelievable that Japan doesn't use this money to alleviate poverty and suffering in its own country. Yikes..

One would have thought that movies like 'Rashomon', 'Seven Samurai', 'Kagemusha' or even the underrated 'Eternal Zero' would be the top grossing Japanese movies (at current prices), but that honor goes to 'Demon Slayer'. Sigh.
Agreed, although only a tiny fraction of the Japanese "classics" are actually watchable, today it doesn't matter as Japan only likes anime lol. Smh

Agreed, the Japanese electorate is definitely self-serving, lethargic and pitiful

As long as the vaccine hasn't been made by Japan, I'm all for using it.
I think that seems to be the consensus here on this site
