Posted in: Man arrested for fatally stabbing woman in Shizuoka Prefecture See in context

A twenty-year-old Japanese male is NOT a man; nothing more than a self-indulgent, narcissistic child.

I've witnessed so many similar cases at, so called, advanced western country. Jobless young people. Yes, they were independent from their family but living on government support with which they buy drug, alcohole... etc.

Dont understand manga? I couldn't understand young people spending their hard earned money(which looked almost wasting to me) on rubbish cars.

I'm not saying either side is wrong. People from different culture can be different. Is it that hard to accept it?

Posted in: Warning over surge in demand for cosmetic surgery in Japan See in context

Unfortunate so many Asian and Japanese women feel a need for unnecessary cosmetic surgery because they are brainwashed into thinking Western standards of beauty are the ideal to strive for.

I can't agree more. Brainwashed to the point somewhat embarrassing.

Ababy,

Maybe you don't understand living as a Japanese. I mean there even someone who became a Japanese sometimes, if not all the times, can't really do. I understand it though.

Regarding their height, it would be OK as long as attendants are tall enough to reach out to overhead lockers. If not, there might be some difficulties in dealing with luggage.

History issue aside, in which both sides' claims are quite contradicting to others', Dokdo/ Takeshima has been under Korean's control for a long while and it has a high chance of continuing to be like that. It's funny to actually witness lots of expatriates begin to develp kind of emotional bond with the countries they live in.

What he committed doesn't have anything to do with what he does for living unless he used some special skill or equipment to break in there. That is an unnecessary data spill.

It is a good move for the three governments in this region. What if they go abroad and use whatever drugs legal there and post their experience or pictures in SNS to brag out without any constraint? Would it have any positive influence on growing up children? Wouldn't it encourage more people to go abroad to smoke pots?

They surely didn't wear their seat belts. Was there even seat belts for them? It would be extremely traumatic for the rescue specialists to retrieve those bodies all mangled inside the cabin. My condolences to all people affected.

If Russia is doing it in their territory, there is not any problem in there. Is there? US is doing the same thing always. Right in front of others' maritime territory on opposite side of the earth. So.. not a big deal at all.

Posted in: Japan claims China escalating military actions See in context

I would rather choose having balance between US and China than the situation where US is the only superpower. Why do some people think China's growth is a threat to region, even to entire world, but ignore what US has been doing to the world to protect their interest? Both countries have the very same right to pursue prosperity. Don't they? I just can't help thinking why people here are so pro-US when their is a issue between those two countries. Human rights? Communism? Race? Please enlighten me.

Being bullied is not as easy to overcome or forget as some people here claim they also went through the same way but didn't harbor any worst feeling or make any wrong decision. You haven't really been to their situation and you were not grown up as a Japanese. You just want to believe you know/ understand about Japan and Japanese because you've lived in Japan long enough or lived with Japanese partner for a while.

We don't know anything yet about their situation at all. I will never judge anyone ever who successfully committed suicide without full information of him/her. Have you lost any of your loved one by suicide? How dare you dishonor someone who just lost his life by calling them coward or agitator?

Did the rape really happen in the first place? I find myself becoming more and more skeptical about any cases US government or its intelligence service is involved.

As a non US citizen, I support Assange for his daring action to stand up against US risking his peaceful life and also his reputation to show rest of the world what's going on. He is kinda hero. Not like those in the stupid holliwood patriotic scifi movies. A real one.

If you think nuke is a mean to protect from other nuclear powers, do you agree other countries developing their own nuclear arsenal to do so? If Japanese has a right to protect their own country by possessing nukes, others deserve it too. Let's not be a hypocrite.

What a paradox Japan is against the nuclear ban. People really forget easy. Don't they?
