Posted in: What is the most acceptable way to reduce the burden of poverty within the cultural norms of a society? See in context
Here’s a shocking and revolutionary thought-Quit encouraging and rewarding laziness and entitled behavior. Nobody is entitled to money, healthcare, food, or even oxygen without earning it. The disabled are no exception. I am physically disabled and I make multiple six figures a year. I think there should be a credit system where as you contribute to society, pay taxes, work etc. you earn credit which can later be redeemed for aid should you become completely physically unable to work in old age. No credits? Not PHYSICALLY completely disabled? Not a minimum of 50?No support. Period. Including if that results in the death of the person. Including the young. Take off your political correctness hat for a second-if someone has not contributed, is not contributing, and is unlikely to contribute, why in the hell are we keeping them alive? How does that benefit society?
