Posted in: China, Japan to cooperate in reviving virus-hit economies See in context

Six months of nobody trading with China is all it would take to reset their perspective.

The reality is the today’s world cannot live without China .

Because China is the factory of the world which means most of the daily necessities in the world are made in China. from clothes to farm tractors from table lamp to iPhones it’s almost impossible to avoid made in China goods in daily life for anyone in the world and China's position cannot be replaced by any country in short term. For example if you move just 5% of China’s productivity to Vietnam Vietnam will be full.

Many people believe it’s big companies like GM or Boing they make tons of money in China are the greatest oppositions from decoupling from China. That’s not the whole story big companies will feel fain from leaving China but they can survive easily they will miss Chinese market but they will move on. It is ordinary people who needs China most because people cannot live without daily necessities like clothes. And more than clothes China controls many critically important resources and industries like Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients in pharmaceutical industry without Chinese api you can’t make many essential drugs like antibiotic which the US needs desperately right now. Experts estimate it will take at least 5-10 years for US to be self efficient without China’s api. This is why decoupling from China is impossible.

Trade deals always negative for the common people

How do you get this conclusion? Under rcep Japan will remove tariffs on 49 percent to 61 percent of agricultural and fisheries products, which means common Japanese people can buy food at a lower price in the near future.

Bad relationship with neighbors is not a good thing and it never was good. It affects business relationship that will affect the economy as well.

Japan an island country which has only four neighboring countries, but it has territorial disputes and deep hatred from all four neighboring countries. Now a Japanese is talking about the disadvantages of “bad relations” you really are the right person haha

Do you know how many people Japanese companies employed in china? The number is 3 million people.

so If the epidemic is still rampant in China, there must be infected people among these three million people, and the Japanese employers will know it for sure not to mention that German and American companies also employ millions people in China have you ever heard news about infected employees in China?

China can’t manipulate the figures. Japanese government knows that.

What makes you think Japan sailing in International waters in the South China sea is a threat to anyone? That makes no sense at all.

Then what is the problem with China adding some buildings and airstrips on China controlled reefs in scs?

China has been Japan’s largest trading partner for 12 consecutive years but Japan is only China’s fifth largest trading partner that means boycotting chinese goods will hurt japan itself much more than China. And dont forget China is Japans second largest food supplier also without Chinese food the food prices in Japan will rise significantly for a long period of time.

China is Japans largest trading partner and second largest food supplier since 2003 which means you guys eat a lot of Chinese food for a long time lol and the fact is It is almost impossible to avoid Chinese food in Japan because almost all the restaurants in Japan are using imported food materials from China.

A naval arms race with china is no good and unwise for japan and China is happy to see it happen ,because China has a much larger and fast developing economy ,most of China's weapons are domestically built which are way cheaper than Japan's imported American weapons. China was heavily devastated in ww2 so China has every right to arm itself.

Japan has 4 neighbors and Japanese people should think why all of japan's neighbors are enemy neighbors who want to strike Japan with nukes and eliminate Japan from earth. Surrounded by enemies, clever Japanese in Japan are likely not willing to fight in a war that they are most likely to loose
