Mr. Abe doesn't seem to get tired of copying US when it's secluded from the world.

If you watch Arirang, you'll be surprised that they stoke resentment against Japan with the comfort women issue. They also insist that Dokdo is a Korean property. I think this investigative team is necessary to counter their accusations. I respect Koreans, so I see no reason in blindly denying their accusations. We must cooperate with each other to counter the threat of North Korea.

CCTV may not report everything, but I hope it becomes available again soon. We must protect ourselves with masks.

When I went to France, I was curiously looked at as there was no Japanese around. Discrimination persists in spite of our conscience against discriminating others.

I'm appalled at the statistics that indicates that the majority of Japanese don't blame Aso for his gaffe. Perhaps they don't know how to blame the deputy PM for fear of retribution ?

Those who nonchalantly rebuke the sailors did nothing but watch the catastrophe unfold in front of their TV. They certainly helped us a lot, so I wonder how they can be so callous. They might have started their rescue mission too early out of humanitarian consideration just like the JSDF members who risked their lives to save the survivors.

Posted in: Smoke Free Systems See in context

What if the bosses are heavy smokers themselves ? I think many Japanese prefer to smoke at their desks to smoke outside like they used to. And many employees will enjoy smoking without concentrating on their work, decreasing their productivity. On the other hand, this system will surely work fine in restaurants, theaters and meeting places where smokers and non-smokers gather together.

Great news for anti-smokers like me. I sincerely hope that other companies will follow suit.
