Perhaps you should bother to look up exactly what these offences are in the UK. They cover a wide spectrum.

Assault, weapons possession and public order offenses don't sound out of line for a future Jihadi, if you ask me.

Nonsense. Assault can range from spitting on a person to beating them up. Weapons possession can be for a stick and public order offenses are usually alcohol related.

Stop being a drama queen.

It is utterly ridiculous that most British police are still unarmed in this day and age

Neither the British public nor the police services want the police to be armed.

True. It's all just speculation at the moment. I don't know who did it but I wouldn't bet against a religious crackpot. Would you

I don't want to speculate. I don't want to feed the likes of Trump Jr for his twitter feed. When the facts are made public then I'm quite happy to comment on the attacker.

The perpetrator has been described as an 'Islamic terrorist' . Now let's be absolutely clear, that does not inply that all Muslims are somehow guilty by association.

By whom? At the time of writing the UK authorities have not described the attacker this way, in fact they have given zero information on the attacker. It's just speculation based on bigotry.

I'm a Londoner, currently in London. Much of the reporting, as well as comments on social media, highlight several things; mostly that people are quite happy to use a tragic attack like this to push their often bigoted agendas that is married to a total ignorance of London, Londoners and the UK in general. Feel free to give your opinion, but stop trying to fit your world view into mine, and those of other Londoners. You know not of what you speak.

Ask someone in the west about their ancestry and they say things like, "I'm half Irish, 1/4 German..." etc.

No, not in Europe. Seems very common among those from North America.

If you have to label these children why not use the more positive term 'bi-cultural' or even 'multi-cultural' Much more inclusive and a great deal less pejorative.

The queues for security are long and slow, the passport desks for visa holders and visitors are often confused, there often appears to be no distinction between the queues. There are always twice as many staff on the Japanese desks, even though they may have many fewer people queuing. It's better than Haneda though.

Barbaric, cruel, unnecessary, pointless. State sanctioned murder is a rubbish deterrent anyway. Civilised countries do not execute it's residents.

Just slap huge UK style taxes on tobacco, ban tobacco advertising and smoking in all public buildings. Watch as the smoking rates plummet. It's a public health issue and it doesn't take much to resolve the problem.

There has been talk of moving Trump's visit away from London to avoid protests. Good luck with that. Birmingham City Council has already indicated they don't want anything to do with his visit, and I don't see anywhere else falling over to welcome him. Anyway, where ever he goes the protesters will be there too. I hope the Queen gets a convenient cold when he visits.
