Like it or not, the suggestive aspect of this footage is quite obvious. Only an idiot wouldn't be able to make the connection that she is supposed to be eating a bowl of freshly drawn semen?

Stumbled upon the NYC Gay Pride parade last year with my 6 and 4 year old in tow. At first I was concerned about what they might see, but when I saw them laughing hysterically over some of the costumes we actually stayed and watched for a while. There were certainly some risqué outfits but nothing lewd or vulgar. All in all a pretty harmless event for the fun of it.

In over 10 years of being on this website I've never seen such a useless string of yingyang comments. CrazyJoe has posted the only realistic view. Simple and concise.

I would rather much read the story of a dead scumbag in the hallway because a school administrator was able to pull out a lawfully owned firearm and use their training to defend themselves and the children rather than read the story we've read about the funerals for those children.

@Noliving My comments on assault weapons and large capacity magazines were based primarily on the possible damage that could be inflicted if said implement fell into the wrong hands.

The U.S. drastically needs legislation to stop the sale of assault weapons, as well as large capacity magazines. That said, something must be done to protect our children. I have two children in elementary school and I would welcome some form of armed deterrent. Schools are simply no longer safe havens void from targeting. They are easily breeched, soft targets for any lunatic that wants to have his 15 minutes of fame. Like it or not, as Noliving has pointed out, the only way to stop one of these nut jobs is to meet them with equal force. After 9-11, we significantly upped the security at airports and on airplanes, including arming pilots and placing armed marshals on aircraft. Why can't our children have at least the same protection?

As agile and humanitarian as I am, there is no way in hell I would have jumped onto the track. If I were close enough I might have reached for an arm, but as Basroil points out, there would be the possibility of being pulled onto the track as well. I personally would have been more inclined to pursue the pusher and detain him until authorities arrived.

As some have already stated this is a tough call. To what level one should get involved definitely depends on the circumstances. However, I think at minimum one should at least notify the police. To do absolutely nothing is detrimental to society.

@OMG I'd like to think it gets through to some children. Especially having it delivered by an authority figure. As I mentioned in my post, I think kids will be kids, unfortunately to their demise sometimes. As a parent, I constantly exude these warnings to my kids knowing full well that eventually, fate will take its course. Such a shame for the family and the driver who has to endure this unwarranted scrutiny as well.

Posted in: 8-year-old girl killed by bus; driver arrested See in context

As the details come in, this just sounds like a terrible accident. All kids do careless things and unfortunately sometimes pay the ultimate price. I'm assuredly not looking for a place to cast the blame, but I'd be curious to hear from some of the teachers that post here. How often, in school, do young children receive guidance regarding the dangers of being near the street? Is this left completely up to the parents? I know both my elementary school children have received cautionary instructions at least three times this school year. With or without that, I still grill my kids at EVERY corner about waiting for the light and looking both ways. We can only hope that the more they hear it, the more it might sink in.

In attempt to pull us back on topic, and concur with Cleo, responsible pet ownership is hugely relevant to this article. This poor woman's life would never have been lost if the owner of the animal had taken the proper measures. If you see a potentially dangerous pet, or an animal that is being abused, the Humane Society or the ASPCA are great places to start. Regarding the ownership of dangerous pets, I have written many times to politicians imploring them to enact policies that protect innocent people as well as the animals.
