Posted in: Aso says Japan needs to raise sales tax next year See in context

Who keeps writing taxes in Japan are the lowest in the world? After all the seperate hidden costs in JP, the Taxes are much higher not to mention how everything you buy is so much more expensive than any other Asian countries, the rise in Tax IS not fair. Costs of insurances, (which will also increase with the Tax rate) all make up a huge chunk out of salary. But hey, I understand, someone has to pay for all the huge Bonuses JP give themselves but foreigners dont get, so yes JP needs to increase Taxes, haha

What do the Parents have to do with the Son's criminal behavior? They dont need to destroy the lives of the parents over this. The son is guilty, he is an Adult. Preety horrible to destroy the business but I bet the debts remain. Boycott Ice Cream?? How about Boycotting all food restaurants as there are NO standards and safety checks in JP! You can do what you like. I have seen Rats running on the ceilings, Chefs not washing hands after toilet breaks, and no fire exits in most places. I fail to see how Ice Cream is on the top list of disgusting items in food premises even if quasi here laid in it! I dont shop in convinis anyway, just seing the types who go in there makes me sick.

Posted in: The importance of social etiquette in urban Japan See in context

If JP is so polite, why is smoking still allowed in so many public places?? Do you like your kids breathing smoke and getting illnesses? If that woman was so strong about telling a foreigner where to put his rubbish, why doesnt she fight the other 80 million smokers out there? Throwing a cigarette butt on the floor is not as harmful as breathing in the smoke everywhere you go. Being polite has many forms, just because JP uses many apologetic words doesn't make them more polite. Being judged wrongly wherever you go is lack of respect, this is experienced all too often in JP.

How has it ever been Apologetic? I dont get it. Lets see the similarities. Example; Imagine the people of Germany 'offering praise and worship to a Shrine dedicated to 'Hitler' each year.. umm Right, smart move from Apologetic JP. I think the word is lost in translation somewhere.

Posted in: Japan survey ships prepare for deployment as tension with China rises See in context

I find all of this a bit odd when it was China that tried to invade Japan, twice ** What?? Study history! The East China sea IS called the East China Sea because it is SO close to their country and very far from Japan. How is it that JP claims the Pacific as theirs since early times but deny the closest Sea to the Chinese? Think about it. The bully is obvious and always has been JP. This time China is stronger, watch out. The costs will be terrible and much more than Abe'S political goals of winning supporters and using conflicts to gain popularity.

Still dont get it; Were they arrested for being 'overweight' or for 'prostitution'? There are hundreds like these types of businesses in JP, including the famous brothel right behind the 'Shibuya' Koban, but I guess that one is convenient for the cops.

Makes me laugh how nobody drinks water in JP in this heat. They wait until they are dizzy then go to the hospital! Even if you give them water, they sip a tiny bit in their mouths and say, hahhh. JP is not the only country to reach 36, get real with your ideas!

Does the Judge hate women? I think so. Besides its ridiculous to assume children can be controlled at all times. Its a tragic accident which probably would not have happened if the old lady wore a helmet!! (no laws for that) Running away seems the best option for anyone now.

Posted in: Japan says Australia trying to impose its culture in whaling row See in context

Last resort for the weak. Its an attack on our culture! haha Whaling has NOTHING to do with culture.!! Its an invention to try to justify a course of action. Yes, the world has the right to debate the environment issues even if it causes an 'inconvenience' for Japan. How about the Tohoku misuse of charity funds? Including the ones that were diverted to whaling?? Is that also JP culture? Looks like nobody has an opinion on that one!
