Although they may not say much, China can't be too thrilled about it. The explosion took place not too far from their border. It's not at all clear that NK has the ability to make an h-bomb small enough to fit in one of their missiles, although they arguably just got a bit closer to that.

I think this must be lost in translation. Please explain how one can threaten with a knife when holding someone in a "full nelson"? If one googles an image of full nelson, it is clear that it take two hands. Where was he holding the knife, between his legs? Perhaps it should say "half nelson" or "headlock".

If the Fukushima rice tests at less than 100 becquerels per kilo it's as safe as any Japan produce you're buying in the store because that is the national safety standard limit to be allowed to sell rice and vegetables.
