Taken down by a fly, what a turn up.

Only if you have a junior highschool mentality.

If your “gotcha” moment of the night was dedicated to a fly on Mike Pence’s head, it’s because your team lost—

Badly.

Final takeaway: Mike Pence was a gentleman, forthright and focused. He delivered his plan for America brilliantly. Kamala Harris behaved like a “Valley Girl,” smirking and rolling her eyes like a petulant brat, dodging every question she was asked.

Come on. He was VP for 8 years. Can't they find anything against him? I guess they can't.

Didnt you watch the debate?

Pence won that debate outright.

Harris dodged questions all over the place and came across as fake and insincere.

How many times did she say, “Joe and I...”?

She may be even less likeable than Hillary!

Given this award and the fact that it is French, means that it it is an arts film

That statement stopped being true about 40 years ago.

They say the chord sequence has been around forever but fail to name a single other song using it.

My Funny Valentine (the jazz standard) - Rodgers and Hart

Chim Chim Cheree - From Mary Poppins

Michelle - the Beatles

Summer Rain - Johnny Rivers

Composer Giovanni Buttista used the “stairway” chord progession 370 years ago.

There are many more examples.

The Trump death wish posts all come from Russian trolls - designed to inflame Trump's supporters and stoke division....as they've been doing since 2016....

And Trump's supporters so easily fall for it...

LOL! I wont even say nice try.Pathetic.

One of the most alarming realizations I had upon hearing the President and First Lady were stricken with a deadly virus was that there was no way I could find out the facts of the situation. I never doubted Walter Cronkite when I was younger, but I no longer trust “the news.”

But most people are going to agree that any borrowing without consent is too close to theft to quibble about. If its not then I should get no charges or jail time for refusing to pay fees on a rental. Pure insanity. Or maybe this "judge" is so old its dementia?

Agreed. And what if the bicycle’s owner had plans and needed to use his own bicycle - but its been taken for 12 hours and counting?

An absurd ruling. The judge’s competence needs to be re-evaluated.

we Are all born into this world with no material possessions. Therefore all material objects should be shared freely with all people.

The problem is even bigger than Macron is admitting. France, and western Europe, has done a real number on itself.

Publishing insulting cartoons is a great way

Its known as free speech, and in is an old and valued part of

the French way of life. Just one facet of western civilization that Islam wants to do away with.

Miyazaki told the court that he once had to stop abruptly after the car in front of him stopped suddenly. After that, he said he wanted other drivers to know what it felt like to have someone do that to them.

This is a not uncommon occurrence when driving. He should NOT have a drivers license.

Speaking of the debate:

Kyle Rittenhouse (the 17 yo who shot the leftist criminals in Kenosha) will sue Biden for libel - Biden’s campaign ad seems to have referenced him as a “white supremacist”. Same lawyer who sued the media over the libel against the Covington Highschool kids.

Biden was saved on numerous occasions by the moderator. He was also saved by Trump, who was far too impatient to just let Biden twist in the wind and look lost.

Yes. New rules next time - make sure Joe “explains” himself. Im looking forward to it.

Indeed It used to be fashionable to slag RUSH off, maybe it still is in some quarters. The songs are not all to my taste but the musicianship is fantastic, actually often astounding, and they certainly had a sound and style all of their own.

"Violence in films should be visceral and disturbing”

Actually, it just inures the public to more extreme violence.

Just what we need, an “ultra -violent” film that leaves viewers gasping in shock.

Cronenberg admitted: "I thought we would be getting more hate."

Hoped, more likely. “Hate” makes for better publicity and sucks in the empty-heads to defend it because it “winds up the movie snobs.”
