BurakuminDes, but did you know that the Korean government withdrew the money and used the majority of the donation for strengthening the sovereignty of the disputed island? Isn't the donation something to give without any expectation or return? Sounds like you don't see the whole picture of problems between these two countries.

Well,I have got so many Japanese friends, but never seen people especially liking koreans or korean cultures as they report on TV. Not sure if my friends hate them,though.

Tony Berry, well you missed a point. did you study what splits these regions? just look up--Takeshima/Dokdo, Zainichi, Yakuza, Pachinko and and so on. you can't bring up Tohoku problems here since it's totally out of this topic. No matter what sort of tragedies Japanese have, their neighbors do not care until these historic hostilities are gone.
