Not too much news here!

It's the "Never-ending-story"!

Seal that darned thing with a concrete dome.

Or does TEOCO want to restart it once everything is taken care of - which would be in +50 years?

People just don't get it!

There will be no NATO troops fighting in Ukraine for the time being.

Probably / most definitely there will be (are) instructors.

Besides, PUTAin doing what he's best at.

Promising and threatening.

He won't be able to fire off his nukes, old stuff, not maintained properly, they would explode in their silos if they decided to use them.

By the way, anyone know how many Russian jets/bombers have been "grounded" lately?

Those "Transnistrians" don't understand what they're getting themselves into

They, too, have not learned from history!

Do they really want to get back under the boot of the dictator residing in the Kremlin?

Back to the past?

NATO forces fighting directly against those Russian invaders won't happen.

Not as long as PUTAin and his marauders won't attack a NATO member country.

But - who knows, with that little dictator in the Kremlin everything is possible.

Ukraine needs more military hardware - fact, and it will be delivered sooner than later - fact!

Thuban,

("Sweden neutral") - guess you don't know how that works!

Being a member of NATO you will fight for any member country in case of an attack!

This much concerning your "neutral thoughts"!

PUTAin really achieved so much during those 2 years of his aggression against Ukraine.

Several valuable members of his gang drank tea.

Others decided to take a jump out of a window.

Roughly 410.000 marauders KIA.

Several vessels sent to the bottom of the sea.

Several planes joining the scrap metal collection.

Russian economy looking not so good.

The West standing more united than before.

Voluntary NATO expansion by Sweden.

More military hardware supply for Ukraine (especially once Olaf Cunctator Maximus makes up his mind).

And more to follow.

Ukraine prevails!

Posted in: Russia's forces turn their focus on Ukraine's northeast in what may be ambitious new push See in context

PUTAin sending more of his marauders thru the meat-grinder.

So far Russians KIA are more than 400.000!

Again: what happened to that 3-day-limited operation.

This will become an even worse disaster than Afghanistan for that little dictator in the Kremlin!

Guess he never expected the willingness and strength of Ukrainians to defend their homeland.

Good to hear, too, that Germany (amongst others) is finally getting ready to provide Ukraine with longer range weapons (too bad that Cunctator Maximus Scholz still doesn't approve the delivery of TAURUS). Britain will provide another 200 missiles, fighter jets are coming (or have arrived already looking at the Russian jet losses), Denmark just approved another aid package, and hopefully others will follow!

First of all I'd tell PUTAin good luck with that!

Ukrainian forces only retreated to save lives and achieve better defense and later counter-attack positions.

However, even in case those Russian marauders succeed - it's the old Russian propaganda and dream he (PUTAin) follows: "in 24 hours all the way to the Rhine River and then beyond that."

PUTAin and his invaders have to be stopped!

It's time that western leaders finally come to senses and provide Ukraine with all the "flora, fauna, and numbers" they need to defeat those aggressors!

Posted in: Ukraine's Zelenskyy warns of an 'artificial deficit' of weapons after withdrawal from Avdiivka See in context

Thuban, where did you get all that information?

The fortifications and tunnels in Avidiivka had been built up over 10 years at enormous cost.

The whole area was mined and boobytrapped.

Why did Zelensky's army suddenly break formation

The fact that Zelensky's forces collapsed so quickly

(it took Russian roughly 2 years to achieve this!)

Been there, seen it?

Oh, and they didn't break formation, as you'd like to see it. It was a well organized repositioning in some area to avoid senseless losses. Ukrainian forces are still in Adiivka (to spell the name of that place correctly)!

Fact is that Ukraine needs more military support from the West and after the Munich meeting I'm sure it will happen. More "Flora and Fauna" from Germany, more "Numbers" from the Netherlands and others!

@JJE,

more PUTAin propaganda again?

Minsk - those agreements weren't worth the paper they were written on!

PUTAin and associates never regarded them as binding.

Ukraine gave up lots of military hardware in exchange for security guarantees by the West.

So, yes, agree, not only Russia is at fault.

Western countries didn't or couldn't provide the needed framework to protect Ukraine.

Now there is only one option: provide Ukraine with everything necessary to liberate all occupied areas (incl. but not limited to Crimea). Enable Ukraine to defeat those Russian aggressors! If not, expect PUTAin and his marauders to continue their war .... which will not end with Ukraine! Remember the old Russian doctrine: "Within 24 hrs to the Rhine river!" And PUTAin still considers this doctrine as being valid!

Changes were and are being made with military leaders all the time, everywhere!

The problem is shortage of military hardware.

Netherlands and others providing fighter jets, the US finally ready to free the money, Germany's Scholz finally understanding what has to be done ("wild animals and flowers"), and so on.

General Zaluzhny will continue to be a valuable member of Ukraine's defense team!

Not like in Russia, where they get served "tea" or have high windows to jump from.

By the way, @Thuban, facts cannot be denied, right?

PUTAin's Russia did invade Ukraine, they did commit atrocities, they did rape and kill civilians at point blank, they are still terrorizing civilians and destroying civilian infrastructure, they did and still do abduct children, they still did and do lootings, and so on ..... all this verified by independent sources.

@Thuban

"Looks like Zaluzhny defied Zelensky and is basically running his own show."

Nope, they're working together to achieve a common goal:

defeat those Russian invaders and re-unite Ukraine with all occupied areas, including but not limited to Crimea.

Besides, PUTAin's agrressors doing again and again what they're best it:

terrorizing and killing civilians!

But maybe even this sentence is too difficult to understand for some: "....documented strikes on residential buildings and the United Nations saying at least 10,000 civilians -- likely many more -- have been killed since Russia invaded in February 2022."

In addition, the free world stands with Ukraine:* **".....***the United States "can and will" deliver the needed aid."** (Sullivan and Stoltenberg)

The problem is that most of those Repubs / MAGA folks got no spine!

We do, thank God for Abbott

You don't say! This one here? https://www.abbott.com/

They're only echoing what Donald utters.

Why wouldn’t they, he’s head of the GOP and many of us will vote for him.

More like headless GQP!

Sabotaging, prolonging, and later blaming the wrong side for their inabilities!

Sounds like something out of the Dems playbook, very familiar.

Wrong answer - as everyone can clearly see (except for MAGAts)

I hope that during the next election voters will make the right decision!

Looking at every single poll, I am sure they will.

Yup, Donald will be at Rikers Island and President Biden again POTUS!

Many of those "illegals" do jobs no American wants to do.

Imagine this: no more oranges on your table, no more avocadoes, no more of this and that.

Or if, than at a price which might be double the amount you pay now.

Concerning the border: Repubs have changed - once they were independent, now they're following Donald's demands. A border deal could be made, satisfying both sides of the aisle. But so far all Repubs do is block and sabotage everything (especially that "wanna-be-speaker-of the house!).
