They can ban yours too, claiming National Security. There are as many versions of National Security as countries, each country has their own version, not just yours. You used national security as justification, when you want to do something that is disadvantage to them/dis regard treaties, well, you decided to get involve with the game, its a game other countries can play too.

All these money, could have been saved, used for other purposes, if, you just stay out of other country's internal affairs. Once that is done, the problems with N Korea will take care of itself. The quarrel you have with your neighbor regarding disputed territory, will stay disputed, no threat, its 2023, not 1900s, or there about, no country wants conflicts/wars today. Just like so many countries in the world, just stay out of the fight between the two big powers.

In todays volatile world. Its unlikely/unrealistic to ask all nuclear countries, there are so many of them, to give up their nuclear weapon. What is doable/realistic is, if Japan, and some countries are sincere/serious about the evil of nuclear weapon, is first, to sign on to, No First Use. If every country signed on to it, then, the result is, the world will never again see its evil/destruction. So, for anyone to talk, and be taken seriously, please first, sign on, and ask yours friends to do the same, other wise, its just for public consumptions/votes.

Japan, just like any sovereign country, is free to meet/not meet any other country it wants/not want, just do not be a hypocrite, about things/justifications etc, etc.

A person would have to be living in a well, if he/she does not know/think that it will be a political/geopolitical decision when it comes to China, its not trade anymore. And, its all driven by the American and mostly Western , willing or unwilling allies.

No one in the world today want war, including the N Korean. They don't have the capability, other than nuclear. Just don't blindly/echoing/parroting the American, which they feel are threatening their survival/security/etc, that is why East Asia is dangerous today, which it should not be, the American just need to go back to their half of the ocean.

The truth of the matter is, it has non thing to do with health. Its all about geopolitics. When Japan chose to echo/parrot America in their action against the Chinese, non thing is off the table, its a game they also can/know how to play.

Its not him meeting the representative of a country with questionable human right record. Every country tries to do what is best for itself. Its him parroting about the human right record of his neighbors whenever he talks about them, harping on their alleged human right record, trying/using it as an excuse/justification for his parroting.

That is the issue.

Exactly my view too. With all the work that he has been doing/published doing, he would have been a good foreign minister. Leaving the PM position to someone else, who really knows where work is required/important from that position. Perhaps, he enjoys hearing what these foreigners are always saying to him??

The reason for this should be based on everything else except politics/geo politics, yet, sadly, it was based on non thing else except, politics/geo politics. What a sad state of affairs.

Well, now we know what really transpired, when it comes to issues regarding China. Human rights? Look at Modi reception in congress. China's aggressiveness? China is only aggressive when it concern Taiwan/national sovereignty. So, all the reasons America provided to the world, to justify their objectives, ask the world to go along? If he continues to echo the American/2 face like the American, Not much chance of any dialogue with China happening. China is still talking to America because America is so so consequential/important, than him.

Thats the problem with America and its democracy, its style. Its a national election, to get votes, to be the best leader of the community, and you are/have to talk about a foreigner, to get your necessary vote???
