@gokai- his hand gestures are meant to articulate his speaking points I believe.

I tend to tilt more independant for sure, but even I’m burned out on the same old jokes and rants. People tune in to these things for an escape, for enjoyment…
We have to see the orange julius on our screens and social media feeds 24/7, do we also have to hear about him at every Hollywood event? Do they really think they’re at all cool or clever or helping the cause by talking about him and political issues CONSTANTLY? All they’re doing is turning people off, clearly. Just have one night in celebration of art. If the art is political – then let it speak for itself and be the message. Stop beating a dead horse. Let people have some fun. And not everyone perceives insults and belittlement of those you disagree with as fun. I don’t belittle and attack my republican friends for their beliefs – or we wouldn’t be friends anymore. These people need to learn there’s a time and place. For people who hate the current POTUS with a passion, they sure can’t stop talking about him.
Is he a problem? IMO, yes. Does endless snark and attack during awards shows help a damn thing or make change? No. And they’re arrogant to think they do.

Every day in Japan I smell somebody smoking, it doesn't matter where you are, indoors or outdoors a whiff of somebody's filthy habit invading my space. Smokers have got to be the most inconsiderate people on earth regarding other peoples personal space.

There is something about this show that just doesn't sit well with me. Being a long time resident of Japan I am often baffled by the lack of content these shows have. Surely Japan (Tokyo) which IS an international city with one of the largest economies in the world can do better than this. There is so much to see, interview and explore that I feel would fascinate all living in Japan or abroad, however, the interviewer lacks vision and courage with the questions and guests on this show. The whole DJ paradigm is obsolete. It doesn't apply to 2017. It's the same old story being beaten to death by an unwillingness to explore deeper forms of entertainment with meaning.

Tell me again why the US needs a base 10,000 miles away in a foreign country?
Because the host countries Government wants them there. Please study a little about the history of the world.

How is that possible? They never ever made a profit. I am starting to think Japanese companies are only for show.

When it comes to the first floor, there is Pastry Shop and the casual café and bar BeBu, which faces Shintora-Dori; sure to be viewed as Tokyo’s version of the Champs-Elysees in the next few years.
I don't think so. That area is just a glorified Shinbashi.

Tough talk from the guy who promised Carrier a giant bribe from the taxpayers' wallets if they just keep half the people they were going to fire in the US.
All the know-it-alls that think they know everything that goes on behind the scenes. Did it ever occur to you that just maybe he knows what he is doing? Trumps threats may not stop every company from leaving, but it sure will make them think twice before making such a big decision.

A tweet is on the bottom levels of speech and discourse.
Get used to it. Legacy news corporations have worn out their welcome because of lies and deceit. Embracing new forms of communication be it through social media, alternative websites or plain old word of mouth is what the future of news reporting will be about. The people will read it then decide for themselves if it's real or fake.
