Happy Talk is not a reflection of reality. There was nothing, apart from Mrs Obama, that was especially compelling or interesting or inspirational. If you are a partisan Democrat of course you are going to feel differently because partisans do not allow for skepticism within the ranks. This is why we got Trump to begin with because this is what brought us Hillary as a candidate. Most of us who want Trump removed asap are not partisan Democrats. We dont wish to drink the Kool Aid…but finding ourselves in the position of having to drink the Kool Aid this november we would prefer it to be Blue not Red. For many however, your party needs to make a far more compelling case than simply showing up and thinking that is enough. It wont be.
