Those places do have some nice for a high price, at times you can find some bargains.

Usually go there to buy imported Cheese (World Cheese) or Ham and Bacon when the online import stores are out of stock.

Never understood how illegal immigrants can get medical, housing, schooling, ...

No proof of visa status or similar needed?

As was said Tunnels, doubt all the current smuggling ones have been found.

The wall would have to extend underground. BTW, Mexico won't get the Bill till it is finished .

I see similar often, many older people enjoy watching kids play.

Many kids also stay with their grandparents till their parents pick them up, might be such a grandparent.

Up to you nothing to do with stats.

If you feel it isn't safe escort them, if you are the only parent doing so expect that your kid will get teased about it.

Posted in: Trump bans federal funding for foreign NGOs that support abortion See in context

I am against abortion unless there is a medical reason or the pregnancy was caused by rape.

Abortion should not be a form of Birth Control, we got Confoms, the Pill, Spiral, etc for that. Educate yourself and Use them.

In additition each abortion increases the health risks for both Mother and Child in case she decides to have kids later on.

Nothing wrong with walking to school, my son did it here

As did I back home, once primary school was done(after 4yrs) we all had to catch a Tram on our own as the new school was a few klicks away.

Parent dropping a kid of, we would die from embarrasment.

Hope she recovers soon

Saw it on TV a bit ago, customer reaction was mixed.

But like with the 1st bought Makuro of the year it is an Advertisement/promotion stunt.

Those Mascots and Characters sell well as do those from Disney, Marvel, DC Comics, etc. :p

holyholly.

A question of demand vs the cost/effort do add them.

Netflix in Japan caters for the Japanese market and thus has a differrent contents compared to other countries.

They would add them quick if there was a bigger demand for japanes movies in english speaking markets/countries.

Liked this movie and Rocky Horror, not putting anyone one down for their likes/dislikes or think anything less of them.

Yes, the Body switch theme has been overdone as have been many themes and genres.

Posted in: Japanese toilets receive new standardised symbols to help foreign tourists See in context

Agreed, some of Toilets got a host of functions(usually under a cover).

Like temp control for seat and water, water pressure controls and more.

Personally I find the new symbols a bit confusing for newcomers.

How would feel finding a Quran, etc.

Like with the Bible or this Book I put them in the Drawer, close it and move on.

Not worth thinking about or getting worked up about.

Sensitive Subject for sure and a bit inconsiderate.

For me not that much different to finding a King James Bible or similar as the only free reading material or similar

As a Buddhist I am not interested in either book, should I Boycott such Hotels?

How would a Hindu, Jew Muslim, etc feel?

Seen plenty of interviews and a common thread was I was born here and I want to die here, or this area is all I know, ...

Majority did find new jobs and Dwellings, easy to forget the news how those struggled being accepted in new schools, etc.

Posted in: Do you regard the U.S. Constitution as a model for the free world? See in context

The way I see with every right and freedom also comes the duty not to abuse it.

Freedom to drive a car is regulated by law as is the freedom to own a gun.

Problem is when people want a right/freedom without the duties.
