I don't think this report suggest in any way that humans are not a significant cause of the most recent increases in climate change. Please take time to read the whole report.

Also there are not " many scientist " jumping ship and denying climate change. Perhaps this is reported by Breitbart, but not by any actual news outlets.

Those scientist who disagree with man caused climate change are actually few and far between ( and often sponsored by oil companies and those who stand to gain by climate change denial). 95% of all Climatologist agree that this climate change is created and accelerated by man .... Mainly through fossil fuel use. Fat chance of the " private sector" getting a handle on something they have created with little forethought or concern in the first place. Companies must be regulated by the government, or like most if us, they'll take what seems to be the easy road of no self-regulation. That idea sounds a lot like Trickle down economics and we can where that has gotten us.

Thank you, "rickyvee & pump24", it's nice to see someone commenting on here with some common sense. Seems to me all the folk who complain about the police here should think about the situations in their own home countries before bashing the Japanese cops. America seems to put everyone in jail, but I'd venture to say that Japan is a vastly safer country. I'd be nice to have ESP & be able to see what the future holds....but even we can't do that....so let's not expect the police to possess powers beyond the norm. I, for one, am thankful to live in such a safe place, and to be able to bring up my kids here. There is certainly room for improvement in many areas...but such is life. The anger needs to be directed at the perpetrator of the crime, not the police.

What's he supposed to say, Serrano?! He's the leader of the country & welcoming the troops back home. As the leader it's his job to encourage & thank the troops for a job well done. They (The troops) had no part in the decision to conduct the war. They just did as they were told ......and they did a damned good job. At this time it is Obama's job to convey the thanks & encouragement we all should feel towards our troops. Being polite & a good leader doesn't mean that he was wrong in opposing the war. But I'm sure you knew that before you posted. I wonder how many of the 100,000 Iraqis who lost their lives would rather still be alive even under Sadam's rule? Guess they can't speak & we will never know. I think Obama described the war quite succinctly by saying a "dumb war". That's exactly what it was. Thank god it's over. May we all have learned some good lessons from it. What a waste of time, money, resources & our precious troops.

Good to clarify hachikoreloaded. I'm sure the elder son has his story, too. It's a sad story all in all.
