A bit too clear-sky thinking for some but maybe he could have chosen to shoot the accompanying video in one of the hundreds of small towns without a recognised history of lynching and white supremacist violence ?

We are talking about now and today, now what happens hundreds of years ago before anyone of us were born. Focus.

It's still happening today. Educate.

So, this week Musk is not being anti-semitic. Until next week when he likes or retweets something anti-semitic.

This is the actual truth.

No, Christians and Jews are not chanting for anyone’s death or trying to change the face or culture of the host nation that took them in

Does that include the 'nations' invaded, colonized, 'civilized', asset-stripped, evangelized, indebted, ethnic-cleansed, marginalized and militarised by Christians for nearly two-thousand years ?

One can only marvel at the resilience and determination of the human spirit to endure such journeys. They have succeeded where feted generals and their armies have failed.

Through Arctic Russia or the Darien Gap they arrive only to be hated by the sort of people who use tanning machines.

The crime in this article is not violent whatsoever.

How would you feel if a man decided to search in futile for your private parts on a subway train ?

Posted in: Israel battles Hamas near another Gaza hospital sheltering thousands See in context

Paul, if I were born in Gaza, hopefully at first I could avoid being brainwashed by the insidious propaganda that is pumped into everyone from birth, through their schooling, and in the media. I would wonder why the billions of dollars in aid money was not spent on my welfare, and on developing a viable economy. I would wonder why billionaires who are my supposed 'leaders' are living in luxury in Qatar while I struggle. I would NOT wonder how many Jews I could kill, nor would I wonder whether or not I should carry dead victims of my crime back to my home territory as some kind of twisted battle trophy.

So somehow, miraculously you would exist amongst 2.5 million people, trapped within 45 sq. km. and be completely oblivious to the encroaching occupation from an aggressive, armed, colonising people like they were some kind of imaginary, benign entity.

You wouldn't be in formation in a redcoat or firing from the woods. You would be looking at a cow in the distance wondering why it is so small.

Resistance is what it is. By any means necessary. If you were born in Gaza would you be wearing a redcoat in formation or firing from the woods ?

Most people understand that Israel is fighting against terrorist cowards, who hide behind women's skirts and children instead of fighting like men.

Historically, can you provide some examples of resistance fighters fighting an open pitched battle ?

He is too old. Without a doubt.

However, for many voters, especially POC voters, his support for Israel is a real vote-killer. They recognise oppression when they see it and hear it.

I have a friend who buys the CBD gummies from the same company. He said he tried the HHCH gummies and they come in two different strengths. The stronger ones are quite strong.

This is the fault of the dozy idiot handing them out to people. It's pretty much slipping a Mickey Finn to someone.

The health ministry is also considering banning all substances with structures similar to HHCH, which can cause hallucinations and memory impairment.

In the land of "I was drunk. I don't remember", alcohol should be first on the list.

It bothers me that the defence lawyers for these weirdos always frame it as a mental health issue requiring empathy or even sympathy.

I have no sympathy. These idiots actually believe there is a child-trafficking, satanic cabal, the election was stolen, jewish space lasers and a convicted rapist and fraudster is their saviour.

Their only defence is utter, utter stupidity.

Posted in: Hilton Japan apologizes for 'disrespectful' ad disparaging traditional Japanese inns See in context

I enjoy it when the Japanese push the envelope a little with their humour. Unfortunately many Japanese are so concerned about causing offence that they become easy to offend. I have a cheeky friend who always apologises for his funniest remarks, which does dilute the intended aim somewhat.

Ryokans are easy targets though. As mentioned before, you get what you pay for.

I can still understand first-timers wanting to go and I would still recommend any first-time visitors to go for a uniquely Japanese experience but I have done enough tours of duty to happily decline repeating the ordeal.

Not a fan of onsen, sleeping on the floor, too much food, Japanese TV, bottled beer, communal toilets or going to bed at 20:30.

My last ryokan experience was spending 3 hours by myself after dinner sitting next to a droning drinks machine knocking back cans of super dry until I had to sleep. The long, silent corridors filled me with such existential dread that a boy appearing on a tricycle would have been sweet relief.

Posted in: Car rams into barricade near Israel Embassy in Tokyo; man detained See in context

Please explain. Isn't the LDP right wing? Doesn't Japan under LDP leadership support Israel? Why would a person "right wing" try to cause harm to the Israeli Embassy? Do Japandse nationalist right wing now support the Palestinians? The Japanese Red Armay, a terrorist group that supported Palestine was as left wing as you could get.

That's the thing about the colonial occupation of Palestine. It has revealed conservative's ranking of hate. Right-wingers have always hated jews but now that are defending their right to exist because they hate muslims more.
