the supreme court isn’t always right. it’s always colored by politics of a time.
Sources of people arrested for standing on a random sidewalk or not identifying themselves
surely you jest? go to youtube and search 1st amendment and police.
Sounds like you personally are at war with the police. Doesn't sound like a wise move to me...
i have a problem with bad ones. don’t you?

Posted in: Controversial 'Civil War' movie prompts debate over U.S. schism See in context
there is nothing in the constitution prohibiting one or more states from seceding. lincoln didn’t like the constitution, exiled newspaper editors who criticized him, raided and shut down newspapers that criticized him, and they were in the north.
he simply ignored the 1st amendment. just like today, police ignore the 1st amendment, arresting people for standing on a sidewalk with a camera, arrest people for not identifying themselves (show me your papers) without any suspicion of a crime.
the cases are thrown out, victims sue, hundreds of millions of dollars are paid out by taxpayers in settlements and police are rarely held accountable.
just because you make laws doesn’t mean wannabe dictators will follow them.
a civil war scenario about ideology is less likely than one pitting people against the police.

Posted in: Movie armorer challenges conviction in fatal shooting of cinematographer by Alec Baldwin See in context
but baldwin didn’t do any hiring of crew.
the armourer was woefully negligent. it was all her responsibility. any fool off the street would know to have no live ammunition on set and ensure only blanks were loaded.
she even allowed other crew members to fire live rounds with the weapon for fun during breaks.
they were rehearsing the scene when the cinematographer was killed. she told baldwin to aim directly at her.
during the filming of the scene, baldwin was supposed to do the same thing and fire the weapon. she would have been killed then.
it was not an accident, it was pure negligence on the part of the armourer.

more evidence that trump overvalued assets.
surety companies would be lining up to make a deal to get the fees if trump’s liquid and property assets were anywhere near enough.

military cemeteries around the world are filled with people who killed. while yasukuni inters the souls similarly.
it’s a dichotomy, though - honoring those souls and a military museum. old soldiers around the world wear uniforms and medals. some people have re-enactments of battles dressed in the uniforms and gear of the time. you don’t see that in japan.
japan has always been subject to a double standard. the british, french, dutch, united states colonized (invaded) half of the world. it was the thing to do in the first half of the century by western countries.
you think western troops occupying all of s.e. asia and the pacific were there on vacation?

a couple of possibilities.
if momentary loss of electrical power occurs, the autopilot may disengage. the aircraft may return to a previous trim setting.
or the pilots could overreact control input to the out of trim condition after the autopilot disengages.
either way, wear you darn seatbelt if you're in your seat. unfortunately, flight attendants are always vulnerable.

the war was over 79 years ago.
what was, was.
what is, is.
the japanese sdf, a military for all practical purposes, hasn’t harmed anyone in 79 years.
on another note, i found the movie tedious, too long, too dark and too loud with the same awful background music for three hours. it won oscars because no good movies have been made in years. the best of the worst, but still dreadful.
