Narrow roads here have a speed limit of 40-50km. Watch the youtube video and you'll see why the girls are in a coma.. He was flying!

Good idea. We all saw the footage are cars driving normally oblivious to the tsumani wave coming at them from the side. If it saves a few lives why not.

Posted in: Parents of dead woman admit confining her for 15 years See in context

they confined her to a tiny room for around 15 years due to a mental illness...

And who diagnosed this mental illness? the parents who locked her away for 15 years like a dog. Hardly think they have the medical experience to judge and decide treatment?

How do we know she wasn't just normal teenager going thru a han-koki phase at the time and the parents couldn't understand a teenagers behavior?

But they'll give foreigners a free pass because they can't be bothered getting a translator and do the paperwork. My town has over 100 foreigners, 98% been here for years and still driving on an international license. The police here refuse to pull them over for speeding, running red lights, not coming to a stop at a stop sign and of course drink driving. Easier to look the other way.

Educator60. Heads were found in cooler boxes which means they were detached from the torso, in other words......beheaded. It doesn't matter what happened or what order they were cut up, it's still called being beheaded when the head has be detached from the torso.

So many dis-functional families here out of touch with members living under the same roof, no communication, parents sleeping in separate rooms and no idea what their own kids are thinking about. This is a huge problem here, parents don't talk to their kids.

Posted in: Gov't to survey unpaid medical bills by foreign tourists See in context

You can't blame gaijins for this. Most people actually have travel insurance when they come here but the hospitals don't have the level of English to ring the insurance companies to get the all clear for procedures or chase the money up afterwards. The staff at the hospitals processing the bills can't speak English and don't know how to go about getting the money from an insurance company outside of Japan. Totally an English failure problem.

They need a national database that can deal with all insurance claims nationwide and can deal with international travel insurance.

Although many Japanese can read and write English, not many have the confidence to talk over the phone.

So basically to beat the USA gallizion $ defense budget and technology you just need a few ships to crowd them? Obviously they can't keep track of where everyone is and more concerning is how are the going to stop multiply simultaneous missile launches from a rogue dictator if they can't multitask?

Nothing will change because vitims refuse to report it to police or tell friends. The victims just blame themselves and get on with life. What girl wants their school/work/family to know they got raped ?

Japanese are shy people, they shy away from drama.

The ol portable combustion BBQ kit from Homac still leads the suicide "way to go out" ranking.

Only this time was in a room not a car so few extra points for originality.

So there anyone here that was granted citizenship in 6 yrs? You need to have Japanese reading and writing skills at least equivalent to an ordinary 7 to 8 year old Japanese primary school student. You need to understand basic "kanji" besides "katakana" and "hiragana". You need to be able to have smooth Japanese oral communication or have money to bypass this criteria.

Sounds like they didn't wanna face getting busted being there and took the quickest way out (suicide) to avoid the news and police investigation. 80% of couples visiting love hotels are having affairs, this is easy to prove by setting up a camera near the entrance and watch how many back away after spotting the camera, they aren't running away because they are shy about privacy either.

They guys aren't interested in girl here.
