Japan should support Ukraine. If no one stand up against Russian aggression, then it sends a message that Russia are free to attack more countries and they could easily take more islands from Japan. Habomai and Shikotan would never be returned. China is also watching what happens, because if no one lifts a finger when Russia invades Ukraine, then China will for sure attack Taiwan and take Senkaku islands.

USA and EU should ban all Japanese citizen to travel to their countries, no exceptions. If the japanese borders are closed then it should also be the other way around for i.e. Japanese business people. Japan is of course free to do what they want but you can't have your cake and eat it too. I wonder if there is a saying in japanese similar to: “No man is an island”.

Posted in: Aid groups in Japan vow to continue support for Afghanistan See in context

USA is donating to the UN World Food Program $2 billion and Japan $174 million per year while China is only donating puny $18 million. China is Afghanistan neighbour and they have said that they are willing to help the Taliban out, so let them take care of their new best friends. Of course Taliban could help themselves if they used some of their opium profit to feed its people or maybe even grow food instead of poppy.
