@vendingmachinemusic

why anyone would travel abroad during a pandemic and have high expectations for how they get treated by any sort of govt official in any country is beyond my realm of thought.

This is not about tourism. Students are waiting almost two years. Many students are from Asian countries. This is their life goal, A big dream. Wives are waiting for see their husbands. Children are waiting for hug their parents.

Government just destroy their targets and happiness. You can't buy time.

I am a foreigner who are working in Japan. My wife is fully vaccinated and got the 3rd booster shot last week. Her visa stamp will be expired on end of February too. We are helpless and frustrated. J Gov always keeping us separated. Why they are not considering about family separation?

@zichi,

Thank You,

She already got the dependent visa under the special exceptional circumstances category. But new entry of foreign nationals is suspended. I am not a permanent resident yet. Finished my 4 years studies and working here in Tokyo now.

What is Japan's policy for family of foreigners who are working here if even those who have been fully vaccinated cannot enter the country after two or three weeks of quarantine?

According to South African antiviral experts, although the transmission rate is very high, omicron has not been shown to cause serious illness. Covid-19 maternal virus was modified as omicron to maintain the virus's survival and may be able to save the lives of the infected human. There must be an end to even the Covid-19 plague. To end, the virus must be eradicated from the world. Otherwise it should be reduced in intensity to a common cold. I think omicron is such a mutant. This could be the end of the corona epidemic.

This is the evidence for Japanese or non Japanese, new entry or re-entry, might bring the virus. Virus doesn't read your status.

They have Checked me 4-5 times around Shinjuku Ikebukuro area. Basically they are looking at visa expiration. Compared to other countries, the Japanese police are too kind and friendly.

@divinda, And 21 out of those 120 nationwide today were found among the international arrivals at the airports.

What is the source?

As far as I know All the international arrivals Omicron patients were found on 28th Nov to 04th Dec. If we don't have enough facts we shouldn't comment on a public thread.

@Iron Lad, what are the evidences that you have to say "I knew the tests are faulty! And the vax is too."? Japan has 70%+ vaccinated rate and controlling things well until now. Do not misleading people.

@itsonlyrockandroll Thanks a lot for your detailed response. but I am worrying about this:

"From 0:00 am (JST) December 2, 2021 to December 31, 2021, as emergency precautionary measure from a preventive perspective, entry of foreign nationals with other special exceptional circumstances was changed."

And there is not English translated pdf about special circumstance.
