If violence is your benchmark for quality. I'm sure you're aware of The Punisher. Who debuted in The Amazing Spider-Man #129 (February 1974)- who is basically a psychopath and has killed people in a variety of horrific ways, far worse than a simple decapitation bite; and I'm pretty sure would eviscerate any member of "The Recon Corps", whoever they are...

It won't work. They're from two very different universes. Spiderman is a tame universe in comparison to Shingeki no Kyojin. It'd be like crossing over Star Trek with Lord of the Rings, or crossing Pokemon with Sin City. Try crossing similar franchises, not insanely different ones. Try Godzilla and Cloverfield, or D-Frag! and Seitokai Yakuindomo. If they're too different, you'll just end up with a mess that won't make sense.

You don't have to profess you adoration for Japanese cartoons so much. Spiderman has been around since 1962. I'd hardly call a universe that has had so much time to mature "tame". I doubt people will still care about " Shingeki no Kyojin" in 5 years time, let alone 52.

I have to say it: If the US elections are cartoonish, how do you describe Japanese elections?

And keep in mind as well that all this is from a guy and people who supposedly say you "can't understand/appreciate sushi" if you're a foreigner but use a foreign magazine's ratings as the highest standard of food quality (Micheline's). If he were given a high rank by said magazine he'd 'deserve' it. If his ranking were lowered he'd say they just don't understand.

Completely agree. The way he sucks up to Joel Robuchon (who's food actually is art) is disgusting too. He thinks gaijin can't understand sushi, unless you are a famous gaijin. I guess Robuchon loves his sushi and respects him too. But, there are still far better sushi restaurants in Tokyo than Jiro's place.
