Posted in: Man who 'fished' underwear from balcony arrested in Kobe See in context

It doesn't make much sense to steal clean underwear, does it? You could just as easily go buy some

Neither does it make sense to steal dirty underwear.

This article also fails to mention that is not financially viable to recycle mobile phones

Disillusioned, This is just a "picture of the day" and not a news article. Gee! JT is simply trying to lighten up your Monday. I hope your weekend wasn't that bad lol!

"Suicide or an accident. Either way, it's still a tragedy. I don't want to make the call, but statistically it is more likely to be a suicide, unfortunately."

I think you just made the call, Disillusioned.

As long as there are races, there will be racism! One can't exist without the other.

I thought there was only one race, and that's the human race.

I repeat my question of last week -- How come Stallone is let into Japan despite his pleading guilty for trying to bring HGH into Australia a few years back, and Paris Hilto gets the boot?

Paris is on probation. In otherwords, she is serving her time outside bars now as we speak. I am sure she wont have any problem comming in after a year or so.

Posted in: U.S. walks out on Ahmadinejad U.N. speech after 9/11 remark See in context

He said the U.S. used the attacks as a pretext to invade Afghanistan and Iraq that led to the killing of hundreds of thousands of people, saying the U.S. should have “designed a logical plan” to punish the perpetrators while not shedding so much blood.

Very true, Mr. President.

Is she missing something, or two, or is my monitor just too small?

You are not, Midnightpromise, it just that the "contour lines" are not visible due to the angle at which the photo was shot.

I feel for these guys and their families. Really, waste of lives. Why send these young men and women to go and die for people who do not want peace?

Posted in: 3 firemen arrested for alleged gang rape of woman See in context

Having watched J-porn, It can be either way. Maybe, just maybe the way she tried to resist could also have sent a signal to the guys that made them think 'all systems are go' and proceeded with the orgy. I truly doubt it if they could have proceeded had she put up a firm resistance. on the otherside, I strongly feel alcohol was the main factor. It could have been fun,fun and fun till later when guilt set in.

Posted in: Jackson's mother sues concert promoter over his death See in context

The suit contends AEG and its agents told Michael Jackson the company would provide the equipment and hire Dr Conrad Murray to care for him so he could perform at the concerts in London.

So they all new what MJ was on and hence, need for the "equipment" I would say, drop the case and leave Dr. Murray alone. MJ was responsible for his own death. He was already a dead man walking.

She is a very good actress. I love most of her movies.

There had been speculation in the tabloids that she didn’t like Japan. Gimme a break! She can be in Japan without experiencing the actual Japan if she chose to.

had his tea and brunch and then decided to go to his brother's apartment and stab him in the leg!

I guess you watch quite a lot of romance movies, dolphingirl. I bet you, it got to be O'sake and O'tsumami.....not "tea and brunch"

Posted in: Should U.S. President Barack Obama visit Hiroshima and Nagasaki when he comes to Japan in November? See in context

I see no reason why he shouldn't visit either one or both cities because frankly, there isn't much to see in Japan. In addition I would add Kyoto to his itinerary.
