I can't help but think that a 5 year old kid should know better than to climb over a 120cm fence on a balcony on the 9th floor. Isn't he old enough to appreciate the consequences of a 9 story fall?

did you stop believing in Santa at 3 years old? The poor kid is 5 years old and believes anything his fanciful mind tells him.

I really have nothing to say, except that Bale is a Brit not an American! Don't cast a Brit to play an American, unless they are willing to cast an American to play a Brit!

haha you should have stuck with nothing and gone out on top. duuuuurrrr, it's called acting. James Caan wasn't really Italian eh....

I don't want the US military to turn into a gay circus with guys in the dinning hall wearing black short shorts kissing their partner even a rare occurance.

no polite way to sat what I want to say to you so will just have to give a big PFFFFFFTTT in capital letters. If you aren't being sarcastic (I hope you are) then the message is read the headline again, "debate over". In fact it's far funnier imagining you shakinh in fear over marines with pink ribbons on theit gun barrels twirling batons. ahahaha what a prat.

all this talk about propoganda. You know nothing about the movie yet and should know more about Zhang Yimou. He is one of the most important film directors of the last 25 years. His big scale films of late have been naff but I challenge any one of you, of any nationality, to watch 'Not One Less' and not be moved to tears. He has been at odds with the Chinese government over his films from day one and has retained his integrity as an auteur. propoganda? ignorant comments

Not a good argument in defense of homosexuality. Incest, multiple partners, and sex with juveniles is also practiced by many species. So what is your point again?

my point was homosexuality is a part of nature. not a defense of it, just a statement to counter the 'against nature' bible bashers. it was very clearly worded. read it again.

I do not know but one thing is certain is that nature will not be mocked.

you do not know, that's right. If you knew about nature you would know that homosexuality is quite natural and practiced by mnay species. It is a genetic disposition that naturally occurs in a fairly high percentage. stick to god if it makes you happy but don't bring nature into it because you'll just sound wrong.

This law did not get passed because America is declining morally. That is a bunch of bullshit that homophobes and bigots want to pass off. The vast majority of Americans support this. These are straight people who understand what the moral and ethical thing to do is.

totally agree with you, well said.

I wonder how much of today's music we will be listening to in 2060.

what is today's music? a. mozart b.black flag c. lady gaga

50 years from now, yeah some people might be listening to lady gaga, might be listening to madonna too if they want to get all noel coward about it for quaintness sake. in 2010 I'm listening to music from 1930 onwards so think it is safe to assume that music from 2010 (good and bad) will still be around in 2060.

Posted in: Does J-pop really suck? See in context

all music sucks when it becomes primarily a way of making money and less a way of making music. Musicians who make music for artistic expression will always be better. Musicians shouldn't have a boss telling them what to wear and what to play. For this reason yes Jpop sucks

Posted in: Does J-pop really suck? See in context

It's all packaged and dressed up to make us buy it. If you don't like it than do something 'bout it sheesh.

I agree. What I do about it is not buy any crappy Jpop. My favourite musicians are Japanese but you won't hear any of them in Mini Stop.

it's no more a packaged product to make money than pop music in other countries. thus as music it is crap. comparing instant noodles to a bowl of lovingly handmade udon...of course it's crap

almost anything a photographer does with almost any camera is in some way an artistic decision. what is 'natural' or 'true colour'? there is no such thing, only what each person sees. We all see blue or green differently, you cannot prove otherwise
