Look at that. So neatly lined up. A little too late. Commit troops if you really want to help Ukraine.

Japanese investors are estimated to have increased their holdings of Chinese bonds by 53% in 2024, the most among the markets that make up the World Government Bond Index.
Japan has recently reduced its holdings of U.S. Treasury securities. In December 2024, Japan's holdings decreased to $1.060 trillion from $1.087 trillion in November.
Japan is buying more Chinese debt. Japan is selling U.S. debt.

Gang, Ito-Yokado equals supermarkets, nothing to do with convenience stores and China is NOT attracting foreign capital, rather exact Opposite, plus foreign companies reducing their supply chain biz there rapidly.
You're speaking of FDI. I'm talking about the bond market. Japan is buying Chinese debt (fact not opinion.)

DeepSeek is a startup. There is no way they can access resources of $500 billion. Yet with $5 million it hit a homerun.
Some people think they spent $5 million to develop DeepSeek so the Anti-China crown can use to ask what happened with Tiananmen in 1989?! lol.

Well there are way more 7-11 stores in Japan than in the US.
Japan is buying Chinese debt now. That’s capital taken from US markets.

Why can’t the narrative be South Korea grabbed them while Japan was down and out after WWII and Japan did nothing to take them back? So they now belong to Korea.

And the rank display of abject cowardice will encourage the Chinese to have a go at Taiwan
No, China and Taiwan will be busy with semiconductor chips, AI, green energy, EV’s, there’s no time for war.
Didn’t the UK contract China to build high speed railway? Wouldn’t you like to spend all that military aid billions of dollars on infrastructure instead? The UK is smart in not sending money continuously but to build infrastructure connecting London Birmingham, and so on.
In short, Taiwan is not going to be like Ukraine, so what Trump does has no impact on Xi.

If Russia didn’t invade Ukraine unprovoked, then it may be considered a proxy war.
You’re talking war, not a proxy war. That applies to war.
Proxy war is when you have someone fight the war for you and you just sit back and approve shipments of military and financial aid. The U.S. tried that with China and lost to the Communists.
You have to be more committed if you’re not, and you half ass it, like Biden did, then you lose like in the case of Ukraine.

This is wonderful news.
War ending is the desired outcome. The U.S. helping Ukraine to surrender or the US bending the knee to Russia are merely expressions of pride of those with no skin in the game.
Peace negotiations prevail.

And what exactly did these Biden 'experts' achieve? They miscalculated Russia's strength and Ukraine's ability to win the war, they were wrong about their game-changing wonder weapons, they failed to crush Russia's economy with their sanctions, they destroyed Europe's industrial base, and they failed to get re-elected by the American public. Experts at the top of their game? Really?

Wishful thinking. This idea ignores the depth of coordination, exchanges and closeness between the leaders,” said a senior European diplomat. “Russia is so reliant on China - they won’t risk their ties to Beijing because Trump gave them a call.”
I don’t see China playing a role here. China needs Russia. Russia needs China. That’s not going to change.
China might want peace; hard to say. The Chinese are famously hard to read
I’m sorry to say but the Chinese couldn’t care less about Ukraine peace. That’s why Japan and China are not there trying to get a slice of the pie. We didn’t put anything into this investment like the US did.

Tokyo Guy
Think of the Banzai charges when Japanese remnants would go headlong into oncoming machine gun fire knowing full well what was going to happen. This is not the way other armies have behaved. It’s a different value system.
There isn’t just one book, General Carl Von Clausewitz’s On War or The Bushido, The Way of the Samurai. Zelenskyy has guidance on the art of war or deportment on how he should conduct himself. He was doomed to lose from the beginning because of this and his cry for help drowned out by the never surrender forces of the last administration.
