Too many factors to consider. Will the airlines pay the Japanese government and U.S. government for fuel/maintenance/security/flight-line access? How will the passengers be escorted off base? What are the security concerns? Will they be expected to fly them out after the olympics as well? At the very least the U.S. should discuss options even if the ultimate decision remains the same.
