Some people taking this news as negative.

Surprised, not really. Typical view on JT.

We could invent a cure for cancer and this people will still find a way to complain.

What if the Olympics happen successfully and safely? ? ?

Sounds like that is not a possible outcome on JT.

IOC, USA, Europe, Japan have discuss this issue in detail. The Olympics was postponed already from 2020 to 2021 before we had a vacinne. If they didn't care about the athletes and people The Games would have happened already in 2020.

Now we have multiple vaccines proven to work and be affective. Many countries start to reopen again, not use masks.

Is it possible that the IOC, USA, Europe and the government of Japan, understand more then the average JT poster? ? ?

Just saying, I think God himself could say the Olympics will be safe.... and some people will still be against it.

This same people support the Olympics to be hold in other countries but not Japan. You do understand the risk will also apply to other countries as well.

Samit

R&D spending is higher for SKorea, yet Japan with less money produces more patents filed each year. I still support an increase in Japan R&D to leave S. Korea in the dust where it belongs.

Using your logic, go and take over North Korea then. If you have such huge advantage over Japan which is modern country and military.... You shouldn't have a problem or issue against North Korea which is 100 years behind.

The only acceptable view on JT is bash the government, give a pass to IOC, ignore America's support for the Olympics, ignore the experts who have approved the go ahead on this issue.

Mr Ghosn knew the justice system in Japan.

He came willingly.

Got hired willingly.

Made millions each year.

Didn't have a problem with the conviction rate until he broke the laws and run away.

The justice system in Japan works well for Japanese citizens! !

Only foreigners keep complaining how unfair is for them! !

You get hired for Japanese company as CEO.

You follow Japanese rules and laws.

When I get hired in America or Europe, I follow the rules and laws of the land.

I don't break the laws and the moment people want to ask questions I run away hidding in a suit case, paid huge amount of money to smuggle him out of Japan, too.

We know Brad Pitt.

He is a huge actor and public figure.

We know his a good man and a good father.

We also know Jolie has a history of lies, manipulation and deception.

What's the point? ?

How many men are not public figures, famous actors? Who get judged in terrible ways by a wife or gf in court. Try to be the victim while bashing the man as the worse person ever.

Women who are spiteful, turning the kids against the father. Disgusting. Shameful. Happens every single day!

Sakhalin in Russia's Far East.

That's the problem right there. Russia shouldn't even be here in the first place. Pushed too far, expanded too much.

In the 1990s when USSR collapse, dozens of countries in Europe and Central Asia became independent or got land back from Russia.

In East Asia we got nothing back. No land, no islands. 0 progress. We waited on Putin when it's too late. When we have no chance anymore and we being deceived in believing otherwise.

Women in 2021.

More opportunities then ever before.

More educated then ever before.

More rights and freedom then ever before.

Yet if you listen to women talk it's the worst time ever for them.

It has never been a better time to be a woman then right now 2021.

Women complain about marriage, men don't want to marry anymore, yet 80% of divorces start because a woman wants to end it.

They want a husband/boyfriend to work 12+ hours a day and still cook, still clean, do everything, while she does less and less because that apparently is fair to them.

Women want men who are taller then them, make good money, in shape, funny, smart, no kids, etc etc etc.....

They never ask themselves what do I bring to the table besides a few moments of fun in the bedroom.

It's cheaper and better to find an escort, pay for fun when you need it, don't fall for this traps.

Let's also ignore the fact that Japan did better then most countries on handling Covid. Let's not talk about that.

Second country to be affected after China.

Oldest population on Earth.

Biggest city Tokyo. A lot of people in Japan, living very close.

Yet Japan managed to keep a hold on it. On the number of death. Even without a vacinne.

IOC was the one to give the go ahead for the Olympics.... Lets not talk about that part.

Apparently getting vacinnes so we can host the Olympics bothers some people. They are very set on canceling the Olympics no matter what.

Posted in: Ford CEO: Electric vehicle demand will transform industry See in context

EVs are here and the future of transportation.

Tesla has shown it can be done and be successful.

EVs are cheaper to recharge. Cleaner no emissions, no oil changes of any kind, safer, with advance technology that can drive itself with some assistance and will get better over time.

Japan is behind! !

Mr. Akio Toyoda,

Has made dozens of mistakes as well!

He doesn't believe in EVs. Doesn't like electric cars. Was only forced recently by investors to take another look.

Believes in Hydrogen when it's already too late! You should have come out with that technology in the 90s. Electric vehicles are more efficient and better then Hydrogen cars.

EV can also power your house in emergency. You can also recharge your car at home if necessary. Don't need hydrogen plant.

Toyota had Stocks in Tesla worth hundreds of billions today in 2021. They sold the Tesla stocks when only worth a few hundred million thinking they did well and was a good decision.... It Wasn't! Terrible mistake!

You can run Toyota with dinosaurs CEO at the wheel. With people who don't understand the times we're living in. That's why Toyota will do worse and worse over time.

Governments around the world are giving up on fossil fuels and have made pledges to end using them by 2050. Mr Akio didn't receive the message apparently.

Necessary in 2021.

Changing Article 9 necessary. For Japan and USA to continue strong.

China is becoming more aggressive.

North Korea is aggressive.

Russia is aggressive.

All this countries also have Nuclear Weapons.

America is a 50/50 gamble.

Will they come against China and Russia if Japan is not prepared, not strong enough? Not for long. Look at Vietnam. Iraq. Afghanistan. Americans get tired.

If USA has to choose between New York city or Tokyo..... What do you think they will do? ? ? America first!

America's commitment is as far as the current president they have in power.

Ukraine also signed agreement with USA and Russia to give up their nukes in the past, with promises of safety in the future. Remember what happened to Ukraine in the past decade? ? ''Crimea''.

If your not strong enough to defend yourself you'll become a target sooner or later. USA can also use it's defense of Japan to force Another Plaza Accord. Another 3 decades of economic stagnation.

That's why Article 9 needs to be changed.

No other country has such restrictions.

Germany, involved in WW1 and WW2 doesn't have such restrictions in 2021.

Our military budget is 1/5 of China's budget and getting worse each year for Japan.

This changes should have taken place already in 2005-2010. We are already far behind China in many areas when it comes to military capabilities.

If you remove America out of the picture..... How Safe Do You Feel for Japan? ? ?

How long will it take for change? How many Japanese citizens have to die before you take our security seriously instead of a joke.

Sad to read her story.

She was very focus on being loved and having a positive image on TV. You can't guarantee 100% the outcome you desire. It's not life or realistic expectation.

She also wanted to date someone on the show and it didn't go her way. It was a basketball player who was obvious a player.

The big drama on the show and the reason why she got bullied afterwards was because: '' Another house mate decided to wash his own clothes, while Hana forgot her costume inside, expensive custome made''. The house mate didn't check the washing machine before, accident not on purposely made.

The costume was ruined, she had a fight with the house mate, was very emotional.

Some people online decided to bully her 24/7. She was in lockdown alone during Covid. Reading negative comments all day.

I was a fan of Hana. I thought she was much stronger then this, she was a professional wrestler as well, many times playing the villain, which I thought would have prepared her better for bullying or negative feedback. I'm sad to see such a young, physically strong, beautiful woman take her own life. Emotionally she was not strong.

I've seen foreign shows in USA, also reality TV show. 10x worse behavior. Sleeping with one another day one. Fights 10x worse with people ending up in hospital.

No one in foreign reality TV shows commit suicide afterwards. They also receive negative comments. They also get judged.

In Japan especially New Young Generation is very Fragile. Not good, it has consequences. Birth rates dropping and suicides rates going up is a good Indicator of that.

Fear of Covid.

Mental health and support is very important in the next century.

Easier financial help, form of UBI should be considered after the Pandemic, with a decline in population, decline in birth rates to alarming levels. UBI should be consider even if you start with small/low amount.

Help for those couples who want to start a family should be there.

Help for single people to find others, incentives to marry or stay together.

We have to do better without people asking, many Japanese would never ask for help or want to be a burden to someone else.
