He "only" raped/killed a gaijin girl - we can still buy his books and give him money. He is a "safe" and pure Japanese after all.
You have a serious problem. It is a crime and he will pay. But this situation has nothing to deal with the fact that he is a Japanese and Miss Hawker was a foreigner in Japan.
Miss Hawker, please rest in peace and all my heart goes with the family. No parents want to die before their children.
