And yet it has a stricter lockdown than Sweden or Japan, both of which are doing not so bad.
If you compare with Sweden's neighbors--Finland, Denmark, Norway--Sweden is doing way worse then the neighbors who implemented social distancing and closed schools, etc.

Well they do, there is a major difference between the fees of a EU and non EU candidates, not to mention scholarships especially for MS and PhD are only available to the EU students. In the US though it is different, as the only differentiation is between state and non-state students.
Not true. All our PhD and MS students get scholarships, some even have double of scholarships as there are additional scholarships which are only for foreigners.
